Abstract

L’invention concerne une traverse d’assise avant pour véhicule automobile prévue pour être fixée sur le plancher avant dudit véhicule en s’étendant transversalement et de manière continue entre deux longerons latéraux (4, 5) de ce véhicule, ladite traverse étant formée par pliage, profilage ou emboutissage à chaud à partir d’un flan de tôle ; caractérisée en ce qu’elle présente une épaisseur variant de manière croissante suivant sa longueur entre son centre et ses deux extrémités.
