Ledit ressort transversal (2) à lames, constitué d'un matériau fibreux composite, comprend une région médiane (10) et des régions extrêmes (11) se rattachant à ladite région médiane (10). En position intégrée, ledit ressort (2) présente une courbure autour de la direction longitudinale (X) d'un véhicule automobile et une courbure autour de la direction verticale (Z) dudit véhicule. La courbure, autour de ladite direction verticale (Z), est instaurée dans ladite région médiane (10). Il en résulte une constante de rappel optimale, alliée à un encombrement optimal.
