L’invention a pour objet une armature de soubassement d'un châssis de véhicule automobile comprenant des longerons (1) latéraux renforcés à l'encontre de leur déformation en cas de choc arrière subi par le châssis. Chacun desdits longerons (1) loge à l'intérieur d'une cavité (7) qu'il comporte un organe de renfort (6) formé d'une platine (8) qui comporte le long de ses bords longitudinaux verticalement opposés des retours (8b) transversaux supérieur et inférieur d'accostage vertical contre respectivement une aile supérieure (3a) et une aile inférieure (3b) du longeron (1). La platine (8) comporte au moins deux piliers (12a, 12b) verticaux s'étendant entre lesdits retours (8b) de la platine (8).
