Abstract
La présente invention porte principalement sur un procédé de polissage d'une pièce (12) par ultrasons au moyen d'une cuve à ultrasons (10) contenant un liquide (11) dans lequel est immergée ladite pièce (12) ainsi que des particules abrasives (13), une source (15) étant apte à générer un signal ultrasonore (Su) destiné à se propager à l’intérieur de la cuve (10) de manière à faire entrer en vibration les particules abrasives (13), ledit procédé comportant: - une étape de mesure ou d’estimation d'un pas moyen de rugosité de la pièce (12), et - une étape de génération d'un signal ultrasonore (Su) engendrant une amplitude de vibration des particules abrasives (13) égale ou légèrement supérieure au pas moyen de rugosité.
