L’invention concerne un contact femelle pour connecteur, un ensemble de connexion comprenant un tel contact femelle, ainsi qu’un procédé de fabrication de ce contact. Ce contact comprend une portion de contact destinée à recevoir une broche d’un contact mâle. Afin de diminuer l’effort d’insertion de la broche dans la portion de contact, la portion de contact comporte une zone de friction (14) avec une ou plusieurs structures en relief (15). Ces structures en relief (15) permettent de réduire les surfaces de friction respectives des contacts mâle et femelle interagissant les unes sur les autres lors de leur accouplement.
