Abstract

La présente invention concerne un engin automoteur pour la protection d’une surface cultivée contre le gel, telle qu’une parcelle de vignes, comprenant : - un châssis (10) supportant au moins un générateur d’air chaud (12), chaque générateur d’air chaud (12) comportant une source de chaleur et au moins un ventilateur pour assurer un échange thermique entre l’air brassé par ledit au moins un ventilateur et ladite source de chaleur,- chaque générateur d’air chaud (12) étant relié et en communication de fluide avec un conduit (14) ayant une forme allongée, la partie inférieure dudit conduit (14) comportant un coude de renvoi (15) et une bouche d’éjection (16) de l’air chaud soufflé, laquelle est dirigée vers l’extérieur dudit engin automoteur,- chaque conduit (14) étant agencée sur ledit châssis (10) de sorte que l’air chaud est éjecté par sa bouche d’éjection (16) au niveau, ou sensiblement au niveau, du sol,- ledit engin automoteur comportant au moins une source d’alimentation en énergie embarquée pour alimenter ledit au moins un générateur d’air chaud (12) de sorte que ledit engin est autonome.
