Abstract

Ecran (1) de protection acoustique pour moteur de véhicule automobile, ledit écran comprenant un corps (2) en mousse de polyuréthanne moulée élastiquement compressible d’absorption acoustique, ledit écran comprenant en outre un insert (3) poreux à base d’une couche de fibres structurelles, liées entre elles par un agent de liaison, ayant été conformée par thermocompression, ledit insert est surmoulé de part et d’autre par ledit corps de manière à être noyé dedans, de sorte que ledit écran présente deux couches de mousse (4a,4b) séparées l’une de l’autre par ledit insert, ladite mousse ayant pénétré dans au moins une partie de l’épaisseur dudit insert de manière à former au moins une croûte (5) de rigidification et d’étanchéité.
