Abstract

Figure pour l'abrégé : aucuneMethod and system for capturing and using rainwater falling on a territory The invention relates to a method for capturing and using the overall quantity of rainwater falling on a hilly territory comprising at least one catchment area having slopes inclined towards a valley and on which is provided at least one water reservoir forming a buffer reserve placed at a first level and comprising means for supplying water, with a controlled flow, to at least one installation of exploitation of the water, as well as means of evacuation towards the valley of a surplus part of the retained water, characterized in that the buffer reserve is fed from a set of primary reserves distributed over the entire extent of the watershed and placed at a level higher than that of the buffer reserve, so as to capture rainwater falling above this level, each of said primary reserves being connected to the buffer reserve by at least one con drainage pipe fitted with a device for regulating the discharged flow, that the overall capacity of the primary reserves is determined so as to be able to capture, in all seasons, the quantity of rainwater expected on average to fall on the basin during a period of at least one month and that the evacuation rate, towards the buffer reserve, of the water retained in the primary reserves is regulated, on the one hand to maintain in the buffer reserve a volume of water sufficient to meet , at all times, to the needs of downstream water exploitation and, on the other hand, so that the primary reserves permanently retain a sufficient free volume to ensure the role of a storm basin capable of absorb an exceptional amount of water.
