Abstract
L’invention concerne un pneumatique comprenant une armature de sommet formée d'au moins deux couches de sommet de travail d'éléments de renforcement et une couche d’éléments de renforcement métalliques circonférentiels, une couche S de mélange caoutchouteux étant au contact d’au moins une couche de sommet de travail et au contact de l’armature de carcasse, ladite couche S s’étendant axialement jusqu’au moins l’extrémité axiale de la bande de roulement. Selon l’invention, la valeur maximale de tan(δ), noté tan(δ)max, de la couche S est inférieure à 0.055, le module d’élasticité sous tension à 10 % d'allongement de la couche S est inférieure à 6 MPa et l’allongement à rupture de la couche S est supérieur à 300 %.
