Abstract

Technical area

The present invention relates to a storage device for industrial shelving intended for the handling of heavy goods for storage warehouses.

Prior art

In large warehouses in the automotive industry, it is often necessary to use lifting devices, particularly for heavy goods handling operations.

For these operations, it is known to use lifting devices of the crane type comprising a chassis resting on the floor of the storage warehouse and on which is disposed a vertical post, an extendable arm mounted pivoting at the free end of said post around a substantially horizontal axis and an actuator arranged between the post and the arm and able to pivot said arm so as to raise or lower the goods.

However, these lifting devices are not adapted to the dimensions of the storage shelves. Indeed, these lifting devices have a significant height and can not be brought into contact with the goods present on the shelves unless they leave a sufficiently large space between them. This therefore results in a significant loss of storage space.

Statement of the invention

The present invention aims to overcome the drawbacks mentioned above by proposing a sliding storage device, inexpensive, of simple design allowing the use of crane-type lifting devices for handling goods without necessarily

In accordance with the invention, there is therefore proposed a storage device for industrial shelving comprising uprights between which shelves are fixed and remarkable in that said device comprises at least:

a sliding tray in a normally horizontal plane between two positions: a retracted position in which said tray is located in the space of the shelves, and an extended position in which the tray is outside the space of the shelves;

means for translating the plate making it possible to move said plate from the retracted position to the extended position and vice versa;

means for anchoring the translation means between two adjacent uprights;

The tray is preferably of substantially rectangular shape and has on its periphery vertical edges so that the two edges parallel to the uprights and the "front edge" are oriented towards the ground and so that the "rear edge" is oriented in the opposite way. We will call "front edge" the edge perpendicular to the uprights which, during the passage of the tray from the retracted position to the extended position, is the first edge to be found outside the bulk of the shelves. In the same way, the “rear edge” is the edge perpendicular to the uprights of the shelves which, during the passage of the tray from the retracted position to the extended position, is the last edge to be found outside the bulk of the shelves.

The anchoring means of the translation means is preferably a base of substantially rectangular shape intended to be fixed to the ground, said base having a U-shaped cross section whose wings parallel to the uprights of the shelves are directed upwards.

Said plate advantageously comprises at one end of its rear edge, a reinforcing element engaged on the base and serving as a guide during the translational movement of said plate.

The translation means preferably consist of a single cylinder to allow the plate to pass from the retracted position to the extended position and vice versa, and rolling means arranged under said plate so as to facilitate its movement in translation.

Advantageously, the translation means are two jacks fixed head to tail to allow the plate to pass from the retracted position to the extended position and vice versa, and rolling means arranged under said plate so as to facilitate its movement in translation.

Best way to realize the technical invention

Referring to Figures 1 to 4, there is shown a

a plate 2 sliding along a normally horizontal plane between two positions: a retracted position according to which said plate 2 is located in the space taken up by the shelves, and an extended position according to which the plate 2 is located outside the space taken up by the shelves;

translation means 8, 8 ′, 9 of the plate 2 making it possible to move said plate 2 from the retracted position to the extended position and vice versa;

an anchoring means 6 of the translation means 8, 8 'between two adjacent uprights 100.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the tray 2 is of substantially rectangular shape allowing easy association with storage shelving. Said plate 2 preferably comprises on its periphery vertical edges 3, 4, 5 so that the two edges 3 parallel to the uprights 100 and the front edge 4 are oriented towards the ground and so that the rear edge 5 is oriented opposite way. This particular arrangement of the rear edge 5 allows it to act as a stop when loading goods onto said tray 2. The edges 3 parallel to the uprights 100 and the front edge 4, by their orientation towards the ground, have a safe role in preventing a user from getting their hands or feet stuck or pallet truck type devices from jamming under said plate 2. According to this same preferred embodiment of the invention, the anchoring means is a rectangular base 6 intended to be fixed to the ground and of U-shaped cross section whose wings parallel to the uprights 100 of the shelves are directed upwards . Preferably, said base 6 has a surface compatible with the plate 2 thus allowing their respective edges to slide tightly. This particular arrangement allows the base 6 to serve as a guide when the plate 2 is moved in translation. Alternatively, the anchoring means 6 can be fixed on other supports such as for example a wall or uprights 100 of shelves; Said anchoring means 6 can be made of any stress-resistant material. Among these materials, metallic materials such as steel or aluminum will be preferred.

According to an even more preferred embodiment of the invention, the plate 2 comprises at one end of its rear edge, a reinforcing element 7 engaged on the base 6 and serving as a guide during the translational movement of said plate 2. Said reinforcing element 7 may be a reinforcing bracket or any other element engaged on the base 6 serving as a guide for the plate 2 such as for example a metal slide, a telescopic tube, a finger or any element sliding between two guides.

Preferably, the jack 8 has a stroke length adapted to the outlet stroke and the bearing means are wheels 9. In order to best support the load of the goods present on the plate 2 and its displacement in translation, use will be made of preferably five wheels 9, four of which are arranged at the ends of the plate 2 and a fifth substantially at the center. Those skilled in the art will know how to choose the fixing means suitable for each wheel 9.

According to a preferred embodiment, the translation means consist of two jacks 8 and 8 'fixed head to tail to allow the plate to pass from the retracted position to the extended position and vice versa, and rolling means 9 arranged under said plate 2 and integral with it so as to facilitate its movement in translation. Preferably, the rolling means will be wheels 9. For reasons of mechanical strength, the jacks 8 and 8 ′ will be welded together. Advantageously, the chambers of the two jacks 8 and 8 ′ will be connected to each other by rigid hydraulic pipes 11. Preferably, the means of “actuation” of the jacks 8 and 8 ′ are elements of the valve box type 10, or hydraulic unit with distributor, for example. These means are connected to the jacks 8 and 8 ′ by flexible piping 12. Possibility of industrial application

The storage device according to the invention finds its particular application in the automotive industry for

Finally, it goes without saying that the examples of storage device in accordance with the invention which have just been described are only specific illustrations, in no way limiting the invention.

Storage device for industrial shelving (1) comprising uprights (100) between which shelves are fixed and characterized in that said storage device (1) comprises at least: a tray (2) sliding in a normally horizontal plane between two positions: a retracted position in which said tray is located in the space of the shelves, and an extended position in which the tray (2) is outside the space shelves ; translation means (8, 8 ', 9) of the plate (2) making it possible to pass said plate (2) from the retracted position to the extended position and vice versa; an anchoring means (6) of the translation means (8, 8 ') between two adjacent uprights (100); 2.
