Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'hydroxyapatite comprenant une étape de dissolution de cendres minérales issues de farines animales calcinées ou de protéines animales calcinées, mise en œuvre dans de l'acide chlorhydrique, suivie d'une étape de filtration de la solution acide obtenue, puis des étapes de précipitation par neutralisation et lavage, permettant d'éliminer de manière efficace à la fois les métaux lourds et les phases sodées et chlorées initialement présents dans les cendres, et d'obtenir ainsi, après séchage à une température n'excédant pas 60°C, une hydroxyapatite très pure et présentant une grande surface spécifique.
