Abstract

The clothing accessory (1) is intended to be fixed to a garment (2) by magnetization, comprising at least one ornamental element (4) of leather, imitation leather or textile and at least one magnetic element (6) integral with said ornamentation element (4), the clothing accessory further comprising at least one complementary magnetic element (8) to be associated with a garment (2), attachment of the clothing accessory (1) to said garment (2). ) being ensured by the cooperation of the magnetic element (6) with the complementary magnetic element (8). Description

Clothing accessory that can be attached to a garment by magnetization

The present invention relates to a clothing accessory intended to be fixed to a garment by magnetization, of the type comprising at least one ornamental element in leather, imitation leather or textile and a magnetized element integral with said ornamental element, the accessory comprising in in addition to a complementary magnetized element intended to be associated with a garment, the attachment of the clothing accessory to said garment being ensured by the cooperation of the magnetic element with the complementary magnetic element.

The invention also relates to a method for producing such a clothing accessory.

The invention applies for example to a clothing accessory of the bow tie, tie or other type. Such an accessory is generally in the form of a ribbon which is passed around a shirt collar and which is attached to the garment and which is shaped by making a knot on the front of the collar .

In order to avoid having to make such a knot which can be complex to make, it is known to propose such clothing accessories to be attached to a garment by means of a magnetic element integral with the ornamental element cooperating with an element additional magnetic attached to the garment on which the clothing accessory is to be attached.

The magnetic element is for example glued to an outer part of the ornamental element and can thus be visible when the clothing accessory is not attached to a garment, which degrades its appearance. In addition, after a certain time, the magnetic element is capable of detaching from the ornamental element and thus rendering the clothing accessory unusable.

The invention aims to overcome these drawbacks by proposing a clothing accessory that can be attached to a garment by magnetization having a pleasant appearance and a long service life.

To this end, the invention relates to a clothing accessory of the aforementioned type, in which the ornamental element comprises a closed pocket, the magnetic element being arranged in said closed pocket.

Thus, the magnetic element is securely attached to the ornamental element and in an invisible part of the exterior of the clothing accessory. The clothing accessory therefore has an improved appearance and lifespan.

According to other optional characteristics of the clothing accessory according to the invention, taken in isolation or in any technically conceivable combination:

the magnetic element is formed by a magnetic strip extending in a main direction, the complementary magnetic element being formed by a metallic element or a magnetic strip extending in the main direction and in length, measured in the main direction , greater than or equal to that of the magnetic element;

- the clothing accessory also comprises a leather, imitation leather or textile ribbon, said ribbon being wound and tightened around a part of the pocket so that the ribbon defines a knot part and at least one ornamental part on the ornamental element;

- The ribbon is wound around a central part of the closed pocket and forming with this central part the knot part, two ornamental parts extending on either side of said knot part;

- The magnetic element is held in place in the central part by said strip, the axis of said central part extending substantially in a main direction along which extends said magnetic element; and

- the ribbon is sewn around the part of the pocket to which it is attached.

The invention also relates to a method for producing a clothing accessory as described above, comprising the following successive steps:

- provide an ornamental element including an open pocket,

- introduce a magnetic element into said open pocket,

- close the pocket containing the magnetic element,

- provide a complementary magnetic element capable of cooperating with the magnetic element to fix the clothing accessory to a garment.

According to other optional characteristics of the clothing accessory according to the invention, taken in isolation or in any technically conceivable combination:

- the pocket is closed by manual or mechanical sewing;

- The method further comprises a step of fixing a ribbon around a part of the pocket, the ribbon defining a knot part and at least one ornamental part on the ornamental element; and

- the ribbon is sewn around the part of the pocket to which it is attached.

With reference to Figs. 1 and 2, a clothing accessory 1 is described according to a first embodiment of the invention intended to be fixed to a garment 2 and comprising an ornamental element 4 provided with at least one magnetic element 6 and at least a complementary magnetic element 8.

According to the first embodiment shown in Figs. 1 and 2, clothing accessory 1 is a bow tie. The invention can however be applied to other types of clothing accessories, as will be described later.

The ornamental element 4 is formed by a piece of leather, imitation leather or textile or by the association of such pieces. The textile is for example a fabric, velvet, or any other material suitable for forming a clothing accessory.

The ornamental element is for example of rectangular shape and shaped to form a closed pocket 10 receiving the magnetic element 6. At least part of the outer surface of the ornamental element 4 forms a visible part of the clothing accessory. It can therefore be arranged to present a pleasant appearance, for example by presenting a particular pattern and / or texture.

The magnetic element 6 being received in the pocket 8 which is closed, it is therefore invisible from the outside of the clothing accessory. The magnetic element 6 is for example formed by an element made of magnetic material, such as a permanent magnet, or by a magnetized metallic element. The magnetic element 6 has for example the form of an elongated bar in a main direction A. As a variant, several magnetic elements 6, for example several permanent magnets, can be provided and for example fixed on a support having the form of an elongated bar in the main direction A. The magnetic element 6 is for example placed in the pocket 10 so that the main direction A is substantially parallel to the length of the rectangle formed by the pocket 10, as more particularly visible in FIG . 5.

According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the clothing accessory 1 also comprises a ribbon 12, for example made of leather, imitation leather or textile, wound and tightened around part of the pocket 10. The ribbon 12 is for example made of the same material and / or has the same appearance as the ornamental element 4. As a variant, the ribbon 12 can be made of a different material and / or have a different appearance from the ornamental element 4.

According to the first embodiment, the ribbon 12 is wound around a central part of the pocket 10 and tightened around the pocket 10 so as to bring the opposite edges of the pocket 10 close to each other in this part central and around the magnetic element 6, as more particularly visible in FIG. 6. The tape 12 thus keeps the magnetic element 6 in place in the pocket 10, substantially in the center of the latter. The ribbon 12 forms with the ornamental element a knot part 14 substantially in the center of the ornamental element 4 and defines two ornamental parts 16 extending on either side of the knot part 14 .

The node part 14 has for example a substantially tubular shape with an axis extending in the main direction A. The ornamental parts 16 each have for example an ear shape. Thus, as more particularly visible in FIGS. 1 and 2, the clothing accessory 1 has the shape of a bow tie according to the first embodiment.

The complementary magnetic element 8 is arranged to cooperate with the magnetic element 6 so that, when the complementary magnetic element 8 and the magnetic element 6 are brought together, the complementary magnetic element 8 and the magnetic element 6 is fixed to one another by magnetization. Thus, the complementary magnetic element 8 is made of a material capable of being magnetized to the magnetic element 6. The complementary magnetic element 8 is thus for example formed by a metal strip. The complementary magnetic element 8 has for example dimensions substantially identical to that of the magnetic element 6. As a variant, the complementary magnetic element has a surface greater than that of the magnetic element 6 so that the element ornamentation 4 can be fixed in different areas of the complementary magnetic element 8. As a variant, several complementary magnetic elements 8 can be provided, each being arranged to cooperate with one of the magnetic elements 6 of the ornamental element 4. The complementary magnetic elements 8 can then be assembled on a support.

According to one embodiment, the complementary magnetic element 8 can be coated with an envelope, for example textile, to improve the appearance of the complementary magnetic element 8.

The use of the clothing accessory 1 is particularly simple since it suffices to position the ornamental element 4 on one side of the garment 2 and the complementary magnetic element 8 on the other side of the garment, opposite the magnetic element for fixing the clothing accessory 1 to the garment 2, as shown in FIG. 1. The clothing accessory 1 can thus be attached to any place of the garment.

As a variant, the complementary magnetic element 8 can be permanently fixed to the garment, for example in a lining of the garment 2 and it suffices to approach the ornamental element 4 to the area of the garment in which the complementary magnetic element 8 is arranged to fix the ornamental element 4 in this area of the garment.

The clothing accessory 1 can be used with any type of clothing, such as a shirt, a T-shirt, a hat, a cap, a jacket, a coat or the like.

The method for producing the clothing accessory 1 described above will now be described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 6.

An open pocket is first of all made from one or more pieces of material (x) forming the ornamental element 4. Such a pocket is for example made by folding the piece back on itself and sewing the two overlapping edges 18 of the part together. One of the edges 20 is not sewn to the facing edge so as to leave an opening allowing one or more elements to be inserted into the pocket 10, as shown in FIG. 3. It is understood that the pocket 10 could be obtained differently than by sewing, for example by gluing or fusing the edges together or by any other suitable means.

As shown in Fig. 4, the magnetic element 6 is then introduced into the pocket 10, through the edge 20 left open. The magnetic element 6 is positioned approximately in the pocket 10 so as to be oriented substantially parallel to the length of the pocket 10 when the latter is rectangular.

The pocket 10 is then closed, for example by manual or mechanical sewing of the edge 20, as shown in FIG. 5.

The ribbon 12 is then wound around a central part of the closed pocket 10, as shown in FIG. 6, which makes it possible to form the knot part 14 and the ornamental parts 16 as well as to keep the magnetic element 6 in place in the closed pocket 10. The ribbon 12 is for example sewn on itself to fix it permanently on the ornamental element 4, as shown in FIG. 6. Alternatively, the ribbon could be removably attached to the ornamental element, so that it can be replaced, for example to modify the appearance of the clothing accessory. Such a removable attachment can be obtained by a button, a hook, or any other suitable means.

The complementary magnetic element 8 is also produced, for example by placing it in an envelope.

The clothing accessory 1 can then be used as a bow tie by attaching the ornamental element to the garment 2, by means of the complementary magnetic element 8, as described above.

Also as indicated above, the clothing accessory 1 may have a shape different from that of a bow tie.

Thus, as shown in FIG. 7, the clothing accessory 1 can for example take the form of a tie.

In this case, the ribbon 12 is fixed to the ornamental element 4 so as to delimit a knot part 14 on one side of the ribbon 12 and an ornamental part 16 on the other side of the ribbon 12.

The method for producing the clothing accessory remains substantially identical to what has been described above, by adapting the position of the ribbon 12 when it is fixed to the ornamental element 4.

It is understood that other forms of clothing accessories could be envisaged.

The clothing accessory 1 as described above is particularly simple and modular in its use since it can be attached to and detached from the garment very easily and at will. In addition, it can be attached to any desired location on the garment.

In addition, the method of making the clothing accessory is also particularly simple to implement.
