Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de conversion d'une charge lourde d'hydrocarbures contenant une fraction d'au moins 50% ayant une température d'ébullition d'au moins 300°C et contenant du soufre, du carbone Conradson, des métaux, et de l'azote, comportant au moins deux étapes d'hydroconversion successives, pouvant être séparées par une étape de séparation intermédiaire, et au moins une étape de désasphaltage d'une fraction lourde de l'effluent issu de l'hydroconversion, avec un recyclage d'au moins une partie de l'huile désasphaltée (DAO) lors de l'hydroconversion, en aval de la première étape d'hydroconversion. La DAO est soit recyclée à sa sortie du désasphalteur, soit après avoir subi une étape de fractionnement produisant une fraction lourde de la DAO qui constitue alors la partie de la DAO recyclée. Ce procédé permet d'améliorer simultanément le niveau de conversion et la stabilité des effluents liquides.
