La présente invention a pour objet procédé de détection et de traçage d'une roue volée d'un véhicule, les roues du véhicule possédant un identifiant (ID6-ID9) propre et comportant un moyen de communication sans fil périodique dans un rayon de communication caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend : • une étape (E0) de communication périodique d'au moins une information d'identification (ID6-ID9) des roues au véhicule ; • une étape (E1) de détection qu'un identifiant (ID6) est manquant ; • une étape (E2) de renseignement à un serveur (11) qu'une roue a effectivement été volée ; • une étape (E3) d'envoi, par le serveur, à un réseau de dispositifs intelligents (12a-12f) munis d'un moyen de géolocalisation d'un message d'alerte ; • une étape (E4) de réception par au moins un dispositif intelligent (12d) du réseau de l'identifiant (ID6) lorsqu'il est dans un rayon de communication ; • une étape (E5) de transmission au serveur, par le dispositif intelligent (12d) d'un message comportant l'identifiant (ID6) reçu et sa géolocalisation.The present invention relates to a method of detecting and tracing a stolen wheel of a vehicle, the wheels of the vehicle having an identifier (ID6-ID9) specific and comprising a periodic wireless communication means within a characterized communication radius. in that it comprises: a step (E0) of periodically communicating at least one piece of identification information (ID6-ID9) of the wheels to the vehicle; • a step (E1) of detecting that an identifier (ID6) is missing; • a step (E2) of informing a server (11) that a wheel has in fact been stolen; • a step (E3) of sending, by the server, to a network of intelligent devices (12a-12f) provided with a means of geolocation of an alert message; • a step (E4) of reception by at least one intelligent device (12d) of the network of the identifier (ID6) when it is within a communication range; • a step (E5) of transmission to the server, by the intelligent device (12d) of a message comprising the identifier (ID6) received and its geolocation.
