Elément d'habillage, notamment pour habitacle de véhicule, possédant une face apparente et comportant un corps en matière plastique qui présente des faces principale avant et arrière, et au moins un graphisme (3) visible en face apparente et délimité par une zone d'entourage (31), caractérisé en ce que - le graphisme (3) est réalisé dans un matériau transparent, - le corps est en matière plastique transparente au moins en regard du graphisme et selon l'épaisseur dudit corps, - la face arrière dudit corps comporte un revêtement de couleur agencé au moins en regard du graphisme (3), et - l'élément d'habillage comporte des moyens de masquage opaques qui sont associés à la face avant et/ ou à la face arrière du corps et agencés en regard de la zone d'entourage (31) du graphisme.
