Abstract

L'invention concerne une brique élémentaire de protection balistique (1) comportant un boitier métallique (100) formé de deux parois principales rectangulaires parallèles, une paroi frontale (110) et une paroi de fond (120), de deux parois latérales (130, 140), d'une paroi supérieure (150) et d'une paroi de base (160). Le boîtier (100) est partagé en deux parties (101, 102) de part et d'autre d'une surface de séparation (Sp) parallèle aux parois principales, une partie frontale (101) intégrant au moins deux plaques balistiques parallèles d'absorption d'énergie cinétique de projectiles ayant une trajectoire d'impact sur la paroi frontale (110), et une deuxième partie arrière (102) intégrant un matériau souple de recueil de ces projectiles, ce matériau souple étant en expansion dans la partie frontale (101) jusqu'à une face arrière de plaque balistique. Les plaques balistiques sont couplées aux parois de base (160) et supérieure (150) par des moyens de fixation et sont inclinées négativement en s'éloignant de la paroi frontale (101) depuis la paroi de base (160) jusqu'à la paroi supérieure (150).
