Skin aging results from two separate and independent processes that involve intrinsic or extrinsic factors. Intrinsic or chrono-biological aging corresponds to age-related normal or physiological aging.

The intrinsic aging results in a slowing down of the renewal of the cells of the epidermis and the appearance of fine lines or wrinkles. At the level of the dermis, the biosynthesis of macromolecules such as collagen decreases with age, changing the mechanical properties of the dermis, hence slackening of the skin, one of the clinical signs of aging. Especially at the level of the bucco-labial area, ie the contour of the lips and the lips, this intrinsic aging is marked by the appearance of lines or wrinkles on the lip contour, such as the lines of bitterness. . Extrinsic aging corresponds to aging caused in general by the environment and corresponds more particularly to the photo-aging due to exposure to the sun, and to smoking. Photo-induced skin aging, that is to say, caused following exposure to the sun is still called photo-aging or heliodermia. Photo-aging is the result, at the level of the dermis, of the degradation of the collagen fibers resulting in particular in clinical alterations such as thick wrinkles and the formation of a soft and tanned skin. The aging of the skin is accelerated by chronic UV exposure. This broad spectrum of the lamp allows to act simultaneously on different types of skin problem. As an alternative to the use of lasers or flashlamps, a technology has developed around the use of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for the cosmetic and therapeutic treatment of the skin. Light-emitting diodes are electronic components that, when traversed by an electric current, emit low-frequency light. It emits a light that is considered cold because it does not produce heat. This characteristic is due to a lack of resistance present in other bulbs. LEDs fall into the category of LLLTs (Low Level Laser Therapy). They have the advantage of being inexpensive compared to lasers or flash lamps and, because of their lower light intensity, do not present any danger of burns or other injuries to the skin if the exposure is not correctly done.

Light-emitting diodes emit light in a spectrum that extends from visible to infrared. Some are said to be monochromatic but emit light whose wavelength is within a small spectrum corresponding to a given color of light. Others, such as white diodes, are polychromatic. It is therefore possible to use light-emitting diodes for the cosmetic treatment of the skin and to select them according to the result that it is desired to obtain.

One of the targets in the cosmetic treatment of wrinkles, as well as in the prevention of the appearance of wrinkles, is collagen. Today the Applicant continues to innovate in this field of cosmetic skin care in the anti-aging by having designed a cosmetic process for increasing the volume and intensity of the natural color of the lips, increasing the density of the skin, anti-aging care and anti-aging prevention of the skin, more particularly the skin of the contour of the lips, in particular the wrinkled skin, and the lips combining a range of wavelengths and a range of light intensity, the heating of the area of the skin to be treated and a care by electrostimulation, which, in combination, plump the lips, enhance their natural color, and also a prevention and reduction of wrinkles, in particular of the bucco-labial area. The Applicant also proposes a device for implementing such a cosmetic skin care method.

The present invention thus relates to a cosmetic process for the care of the skin, in particular of the bucco-labial zone by photomodulation, heating and electrostimulation, and an ultraportable device for the implementation of such a cosmetic skin care method. .

Applicants have also observed, surprisingly, that the electrostimulation cosmetic treatment step according to the invention made it possible to help restart the local microcirculation. As mentioned above, this improves intercellular communication. In the case of an application on the lips it allows to increase the volume of the lips (commonly called "repulpage" lips), and this immediately and increase the intensity of the natural color of the lips.

Very good results were obtained with a repeated exposure period of one to two minutes twice daily for 28 days. The selection of a wavelength of between 630 and 660 nm, preferably 630 nm, and of a suitable light intensity makes it possible to obtain a surprising result.
