Abstract

L'invention concerne un convoyeur à bande (10) et une méthode de mise en œuvre. Il comprend, d'une part un châssis (16) s'étendant longitudinalement entre deux extrémités opposées (12, 14) et deux tambours (22, 28) montés respectivement auxdites extrémités pour pouvoir recevoir en boucle fermée une bande transporteuse (30), et d'autre part un groupe moteur (50) installé à l'une desdites extrémités dudit châssis (14) pour pouvoir entraîner en rotation l'un desdits tambours (28). Ledit groupe moteur (50) et ledit un desdits tambours (28) sont montés solidaires l'un de l'autre pour former un seul bloc ; et ledit seul bloc est installé mobile en pivotement sur ladite une desdites extrémités (14) dudit châssis (16) pour pouvoir entraîner ledit un desdits tambours (28) en pivotement vers l'autre desdits tambours (22) de manière à pouvoir libérer l'un de l'autre ledit un desdits tambours (28) et ladite bande transporteuse (30).
