Abstract

Calotin (2), pour casque de protection comportant une calotte externe (1) rigide apte à recevoir dans sa cavité interne ledit calotin (2), réalisé dans un matériau viscoélastique ayant la capacité d'absorber l'énergie d'un choc par déformation transformant cette énergie cinétique en énergie potentielle et de revenir ensuite à sa forme initiale, et tel qu'il comporte sur sa face extérieure apte à venir en contact avec la face intérieure de la calotte externe (1) au moins trois rainures (3) situées dans des plans quasi horizontaux, et faisant tout le tour de la surface externe du calotin (2) hormis les zones éventuellement occupées par divers accessoires.
