Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de carburant (10) pour un aéronef (12), lequel comprend un réservoir de carburant (16) configuré pour recevoir du carburant et une pompe à carburant (18). La pompe à carburant (18) comprend un moteur électrique (20) disposé à proximité du réservoir de carburant (16). La pompe à carburant (18) comprend en outre une alimentation électrique (22) en communication électrique avec le moteur électrique (20) et disposée à l'extérieur du réservoir de carburant (16). La pompe à carburant (18) comprend en outre une roue hélice (32) disposée à l'intérieur du réservoir de carburant (16) et couplée de manière rotative au moteur électrique (20). La roue hélice (32) comprend un arbre (44) ayant une première extrémité (46) et une deuxième extrémité (48) espacée par rapport à la première extrémité (46), avec le moteur électrique (20) couplé à la première extrémité (46). L'arbre (44) a une résistivité supérieure à la résistivité du réservoir de carburant (16) entre la première extrémité (46) et la deuxième extrémité (48) pour minimiser un transfert électrique entre le moteur électrique (20) et le carburant.
