Modular stage system for cycle docking station

The present invention relates to modular deck systems for cycle docking stations. More particularly, this relates to cycle docking stations in automatic cycle use and / or rental systems.

Background and Prior Art

Systems for shared use of cycles, in particular for short-term rental, have developed considerably in recent years in a large number of cities and agglomerations.

In many cases, the cycles are stored in docking stations, the cycles are attached to one or more hanging terminals fixed to the ground.

Docking stations can be opened, in the open air, simply covered by a roof or even in a room sheltered from the weather.

Municipalities tend to prefer infrastructure that requires little earthworks and / or little excavation on the roads. Thus, it is preferable that the hooking posts are installed without excavation.

Furthermore, in certain cases, the installation is not permanent but has a temporary character so that the cycle docking station must then be installed temporarily and must be able to be removed without doing any road work. consistent. This therefore explains the 'removable' nature necessary for these stations and in particular the elements constituting these stations.

Document EP2130750 [Bixi] discloses a modular docking station system intended to be installed most of the year but to be completely removed and stored during severe winter months.

However, it appeared that this system was not well suited to respond to cases where a cycle docking station must be installed in a curve along a non-straight street.

Thus, a need appeared to find a solution on the one hand for the rapid installation without excavation and on the other hand for the non-permanent installation of a cycle docking station in a curved street.

Summary of the invention

To this end, a set of at least two stages (MO, M1, M2) is proposed intended to form part of a cycle docking station in a system for shared use of cycles, each stage comprising:

- a base (one can also use the terms 'base' or 'massive plate'), placed on the ground in a situation of use extending in a horizontal plane,

- attachment terminals and / or an interactive terminal (BI) fixed to the base and projecting upwards from the base, each attachment terminal being designed to accommodate at least one cycle maintained in the upright position ,

- A link connecting the two plates, the link including a mounting with a vertical axis rotation.

Thanks to these provisions, each of the two plates can locally follow the layout of the street, with a non-zero angle between the respective axes of the two plates; the angular possibilities provided by the rotational mounting make it possible to adapt the geometric configuration of a docking station on a case-by-case basis according to the curve of the street whatever the direction of curvature, convex or concave, from the side for introducing cycles into the attachment terminals.

On the other hand, the articulation provides a mechanical reference between the two plates for the initial positioning, and the mechanical connection makes it possible to guarantee the stability of the configuration of the docking station, even in the event of efforts or shocks exerted by users or vehicles on the hitching posts.

Thus, a system based on modular plates is proposed which makes it possible to install a cycle docking station very quickly and without roadwork on a curved street. It is also possible to easily remove the docking station if necessary.

It is noted that a first type of plate carries terminals for hooking cycles and that there may be, if necessary, a second type of plate which carries an interactive terminal with a user interface screen, with or without terminals. hanging.

In various embodiments of the invention, recourse may optionally be had to one and / or the other of the following provisions.

According to a particular option, the connection is an articulated connection with a degree of freedom in rotation along the vertical axis (Z), a degree of freedom in translation along the vertical axis (Z) and a limited clearance in translation in the directions horizontal (X, Y). It is a simple and reliable solution to form a mechanical connection which secures the two plates sufficiently while allowing a respective different longitudinal orientation of the two modules. Certain soil defects or irregularities can thus be compensated.

According to a particular option, the connection is assembled by insertion along the vertical direction, by placing the second plate in the vicinity of the first plate already on the ground. This forms a simple vertical interlocking and easy to install with conventional lifting means.

According to a particular option, the connection between plates comprises a cable passage configured to receive electric cables passing between the two plates. Thus, the electric cables passing between the two plates pass inside the link and are protected from the environment and possible mechanical or physical attack; moreover, limited or even impossible access to cables makes it possible to avoid potential malicious acts by the public, which could damage the docking station.

According to a particular option, each of the plate bases comprises a longitudinal channel (3) for the accommodation of electric cables, the passage for cables of the inter-plate link being arranged substantially in line with each of the longitudinal channels of the two modules. Figures IA and IB represent examples of cycle docking stations located at the edge of the track in a curved, non-straight street. Docking stations can also be called 'cycle storage stations'.

In the two examples, 4 plates MO, M1, M2, M3 are placed on the ground and connected one after the other according to a general curve which follows the curve of the street. Furthermore, there is provided in the chute 3 of the base a through hole 14 which allows to insert a stake 13 on the ground, for essential support on the ground.

As illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6, the articulation can be formed from two parts which generally cooperate by complementarity of form, the first part marked 21 being a separate part fixed to the first plate Ml and the second part marked 22 being fixed to the second M2 deck.

In the example illustrated, the first part 21 is fixed in a lower zone of the lateral border of the base of the first plate Ml. Several solutions are possible to manufacture

Base 1.

The base 1 can be made of concrete preferably concrete reinforced with a steel mesh, that is to say reinforced concrete. Provision may be made to insert accessories such as the end pieces forming articulation pieces into the concrete pouring mold. The self-weight of the base, between 200kg and 250kg is sufficient so that the plate cannot be moved by a user action even very violent.

Base 1 can be made of cast iron or galvanized steel. According to this solution, the base is formed by an assembly of identical primary modules 6 each carrying a single terminal as illustrated in FIG. 8.

The number of primary modules 6 attached one after the other can be any, for example between 2 and 15. It can be provided forms of tenons and mortises to easily join two adjacent primary modules. The primary module 6 has length / width dimensions less than 1 meter which makes inexpensive manufacturing possible; its unit weight (<50 Kg) is also compatible with a crane-free installation of the modules one after the other.

One or two special end modules are provided to finish the modular base 1 and to carry the articulation elements 21, 22.
