Abstract

L'invention concerne une banquette (1) pour véhicule automobile, comportant une structure porteuse (40), un dossier (20), et une assise (10) qui est fractionnable en deux parties, dont : - une première partie (10A) qui délimite une surface d'assise pour un passager et qui est montée sur la structure porteuse avec une mobilité de basculement entre une position d'utilisation et une position rabattue, et - une seconde partie (10B) qui délimite une surface d'assise pour un autre passager. Selon l'invention, la banquette comporte en outre un élément de protection (50) qui est monté mobile par rapport à la seconde partie de l'assise, entre une position escamotée dans laquelle il s'étend sous la surface d'assise de cette seconde partie de l'assise, et une position déployée dans laquelle il s'étend en saillie de la surface d'assise de cette seconde partie de l'assise.
