The invention relates to a foldable cardboard cutout and a packaging for cut cheeses, in particular for freshly cut cheeses which are offered on a self-service basis in food stores, the packaging being produced by folding said cutout.

STATE OF THE ART

Supermarket cut cheese departments often offer self-service portions of cheese freshly cut and packaged on site by creamers. For this, the cheese makers deliver whole cheeses to the supermarkets, for example in the form of millstones, which the creamers cut and package on site before offering them for self-service.

Conventionally, the portions of cheese thus freshly cut are placed in a tray, before being covered with a plastic stretch film.

However, such packaging is not practical to transport.

Indeed, they can easily be crushed during transport, for example in a consumer's cart or even in their shopping bag.

Nor is such packaging practical to use.

Indeed, after their first opening, it is difficult to replace the plastic film on the tray to ensure good preservation of the portion of cheese in the consumer's refrigerator.

PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The aim of the present invention is to overcome the drawbacks mentioned above, in particular by proposing a foldable cardboard cutout making it possible to form, after folding, a cut cheese packaging which is both easy to transport, without risk of crushing. packaging and the portion of cheese it contains, and convenient to use.

More specifically, the subject of the invention is a flat, foldable cut out of cardboard and designed to form, after folding, a packaging for cheese cut, said cut comprising:

- a triangular shaped bottom wall, delimited by fold lines each forming one side of said bottom wall,

- a first, a second and a third side wall of quadrilateral shape, each extending from one side of the bottom wall, the first, second and third side walls being further connected in pairs by means of folds to bellows each extending between two fold lines forming adjacent sides of the first, second and third side walls,

- a triangular shaped cover wall, extending from a fold line forming a side of the first side wall, opposite the bottom wall with respect to said first side wall.

According to different embodiments of the invention, which can be taken together or separately:

- the cutout is designed to be folded manually without tools;

- the cutout further comprises mechanical fixing means designed to maintain, after folding, the packaging in an upright state;

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Figure 1 shows a flat, foldable and cardboard cutout 10 according to an embodiment of the invention. By "cutting" is meant a piece of cardboard delivered flat and intended to be assembled manually or mechanically.

The cutout 10 is designed to form, after folding, a package 100 for cut cheeses. The package 100 is shown in Figures 2 and 3, respectively in an upright state and in an open state. Preferably, the packaging 100 is designed to accommodate a portion of cheese 101 freshly cut and packaged by a creamer in a food store to be offered in self-service in this store.

The cutout 10 comprises a bottom wall 11 of triangular shape, delimited by fold lines each forming a side 11a, 11b, 11c of said bottom wall 11.

The cutout 10 further comprises a first, a second and a third side wall 12, 13, 14 of quadrilateral shape, each extending from one side 11a, 11b, 11c of the bottom wall 11. The first, second and third side walls 12, 13, 14 for example have a rectangular or square shape.
