Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif comportant un premier compartiment contenant un milieu aqueux comportant un solvant aqueux et de l'hydroxyde de potassium KOH au moins partiellement dissous dans le solvant aqueux, et un deuxième compartiment contenant une charge solide comportant, en pourcentages en masse sur la base de la masse de la charge solide et pour un total de 100,0 % : - 10,0 % à 50,0 % de borohydrure de potassium KBH4, - 50,0 % à 90,0 %, d'un deuxième hydrure, autre que KBH4, et présentant une capacité de stockage d'hydrogène supérieure ou égale à 7,4%, - 10,0 % au plus d'un additif exothermique choisi parmi un troisième hydrure, différent du borohydrure de potassium et du deuxième hydrure, présentant une chaleur latente de réaction d'hydrolyse supérieure à 8 kJ/kg, un composé soluble dans l'eau présentant une chaleur latente de dissolution inférieure à -30 kJ/mol et leurs mélanges, - moins de 2,0 % d'autres constituants, les premier et deuxième compartiments étant en communication fluidique dans une configuration de génération de dihydrogène du dispositif, de sorte à former la composition aqueuse d'hydrures par mise en contact du milieu aqueux avec la charge solide.
