The invention relates to the field of distribution of essential oils, in particular for private use.

In a private setting, the use of an essential oil diffusion device allows, in confined spaces such as a bedroom, living room, bathroom, etc., to clean the air and associate a fragrance chosen by the user.

The choice of essential oil diffusion devices present on the current market in France and abroad is wide and growing. There are in particular different technologies of diffusion devices - ultrasonic, nebulization, ventilation, soft heat.

In particular, ultrasonic diffusion is a mode of cold diffusion, which has the advantages of not deteriorating the original fragrance, nor the energy value of essential oils. Ultrasonic scattering is based on the aerial suspension of a body of water and essential oils when they resonate with a train of very high frequency ultrasonic waves (from 16 to 20 megahertz). Water and a few drops of essential oil are placed in a housing at the bottom of which is a small ceramic plate configured to vibrate at ultrasonic speed: it is the ultrasonic plate of the device which is controlled by an associated control module to the device. A mini fan then allows the vapor released to spread through the air as homogeneously as possible.

However, the functionality of each of these essential oil diffusion devices remains basic and identical.

Indeed, all the essential oil diffusion devices offer the same basic function which is that of the diffusion of essential oils. Some devices also offer a so-called "wave" function, consisting of alternating moments of breaks and the diffusion of oils.

After analyzing the behavior of using essential oil diffusion devices, it has been found that a user usually has several bottles of essential oil, and in particular three, corresponding to different virtues and odors. Depending on the season and / or the user's wishes, the user chooses the desired essential oil and deposits a few drops in the housing at the bottom of which is placed the ultrasonic plate. One problem resides in the fact that the user does not have an obvious or practical place in which to store his bottles, it being understood that the conditions of storage of the bottles must ideally, in order to ensure a practicality of use and to preserve at best the characteristics and qualities of essential oils, meet several criteria.

It is thus preferable that the bottles be stored near the device for diffusing essential oils, so as to have them on hand when using the device.

The bottles should also be stored protected from light, because UV rays damage the quality of essential oils, and protected from heat, because too high a temperature alters the virtues of essential oils.

In addition, it is preferable that the bottles are stored away from dust and various indoor air pollutants, because a dirty and sticky bottle is unpleasant to use.

In this context, the invention proposes a new device for diffusing essential oils which presents innovative functionalities relating to the ergonomics of use of its users. The invention provides a device for diffusing essential oils comprising at least one base, in which is arranged at least one element for diffusing an essential oil solution, and a cover for covering the base by which is adapted. to exit an air flow loaded with essential oil, characterized in that the base comprises a peripheral portion which surrounds the diffusion element and which comprises at least one housing for a bottle of essential oil.

The device for diffusing essential oils is particularly advantageous in that it comprises at least one housing for a bottle of essential oil, located inside the device for diffusing essential oils, which makes it possible to be able to integrate / store / dispose of at least one bottle of essential oil. This feature allows you to keep them close at hand, protect them from UV rays, conserve them from heat, and protect them from dirt in the atmosphere.

According to different characteristics of the invention, taken alone or in combination, it can be provided that:

- the diffusion element comprises a reservoir configured to receive at least drops of essential oil brought to be mixed in the air flow passing through the base, the at least one housing of a bottle of essential oil both disposed at the periphery of this reservoir;

- the diffusion element comprises an ultrasonic plate placed in the vicinity of the bottom of the tank;

- The diffusion device further comprises a dome removably arranged between the cover and the base so as to cover the diffusion element, the at least one housing of a bottle of essential oil being disposed between the cover and the dome;

- the base of the dome, when the dome is in contact with the base of the device, is flush with the edge delimiting the at least housing of a bottle of essential oil;

- The dome has at its top an orifice opposite the air outlet orifice of the cover when the dome and the cover are attached to the base.

The presence of a protective dome overhanging the tank allows an optimal diffusion of essential oils, while raising the flow towards the air outlet, and it ensures a physical separation between the air flow and the bottles which, a once installed in the housing provided for this purpose, are located all around the dome. The bottles are therefore outside the diffusion flow, which keeps them free from any fatty residues linked to the diffusion of essential oils.

According to another series of characteristics, taken alone or in combination, it can be provided that:

- the cover and the dome are integral;

- the cover is made of an opaque material;

- The diffusion device comprises a plurality of housings of a bottle of essential oil 10;

- the housings of a bottle of essential oil are regularly distributed angularly around the diffusion element.

The design of the diffusion device is thought for a practical use of the device, as well as a durable and healthy conservation. The object of the invention is to improve the user experience of an essential oil delivery device. It is a question of proposing a complete alternative to the devices of diffusion of essential oils already known.

The characteristics of the invention mentioned above, as well as others, will appear more clearly on reading the description below which refers to the accompanying drawings illustrating an essential oil diffusion device according to the invention and among which :

- Figure 1 is a perspective view of an essential oil diffusion device according to the invention, comprising in particular a cover and a base in which are shown here a dome and three bottles of essential oil, the cover being in a position remote from the base;

- Figure 2 is a view of the device of Figure 1 from the same perspective, in which the dome is shown in a position remote from the base revealing a central reservoir, the bottles of essential oil being removed here to make visible the housings configured in the base to receive them;

- And Figure 3 is a sectional view of the essential oil diffusion device of Figure 1, with the cover in the attached position on the base, and in which we can in particular observe the air flow path when l device is on.

An essential oil diffusion device 1 according to the invention is particularly advantageous in that it incorporates housings configured to receive bottles of essential oil during use of the device.

The diffusion device 1 according to the invention, as illustrated in FIG. 1, takes the overall form of a box, comprising two main parts that are a base 5 and a cover 3.

The cover 3 has a triangular basic shape, with an upper wall which is pierced in its center with an orifice 2 forming an air outlet, letting out the flow of vapor and essential oils generated in the device, and with side walls which extend the upper wall perpendicularly and whose free ends are in contact with the base when the cover is attached to this base 5, the cover 3 being removably mounted on the base 5.

The diffusion device 1 further comprises a protective dome 9, the role of which will be described below, and which extends between the base 5 and the cover 3. The protective dome 9 has at its top an orifice for outlet 10, and the protective dome 9 is arranged so that this outlet orifice is arranged in the vicinity of the cover, superimposed with the orifice 2 forming the air outlet of the cover 3.

The protective dome 9 has, in the example illustrated, a dome shape in a spiral, or in a nautilus, and it should be noted that this shape allows optimal diffusion of essential oils, while increasing the flow towards the air outlet. .

The base 5 has an upper face which is arranged opposite the cover 3, when the latter is attached to the base, and which comprises substantially in its center a diffusion element. In the present case, the diffusion element comprises a reservoir 8, hollowed out in the thickness of the base, and an ultrasonic plate 80, arranged in the vicinity of the reservoir, here in the vicinity of the bottom of the reservoir. As may have been clarified before, the technology for diffusing essential oils could differ from the ultrasonic technology here described and shown by way of nonlimiting example.

The device also comprises an air inlet 6 formed in a side wall of the base 5, and a button for activating the device 7, here also formed in a side wall of the base, it being understood that it could be placed elsewhere without departing from the context of the invention.

The upper face of the base defines around the reservoir 8 a peripheral portion 50. At least one cavity forming a housing 4 is produced in this peripheral portion, in the vicinity of the reservoir 8. A cavity forming a housing 4 is dimensioned so as to be able to receive a essential oil bottle

For this purpose, the cavity forming a housing 4 advantageously has a circular shape of substantially equal diameter, that is to say very slightly greater, than that of a bottle of essential oil. The depth of these cavities forming a housing is determined so that a user can grasp the bottle 100 by the cap. It will be understood that in the case of a plurality of cavities forming a housing 4, each cavity can have different dimensions in order to be s adapt to bottles of essential oil of different dimensions, and for example from different manufacturers.

In the example illustrated, three cavities are provided to form housing for three bottles of essential oil. These cavities are regularly distributed angularly around an axis passing through the center of the tank. This number of cavities is particularly suited to the shape chosen here of the diffusion device 1, namely a triangular shape. The cavities and the associated bottles can thus be arranged at 120 ° from one another, in zones of the peripheral portion corresponding to each of the angles of the triangle defining the diffusion device 1.

When it is in place on the base 5, as can be seen in particular in FIGS. 1 and 3, the protective dome 9 only overhangs the reservoir 8 and therefore does not cover the bottles of essential oil arranged around that -this. The dome can advantageously be dimensioned so that the base of the dome comes to be flush, when the dome is in position on the base, with an edge participating in delimiting the cavity forming the housing of a bottle of essential oil.

Advantageously, the dome is housed inside the tank, resting on a peripheral border, here not visible, and formed in the wall delimiting the tank. As an alternative, provision could be made to rest the dome on the base around the tank, as soon as sealing means preventing leaks are provided.

The dome makes it possible to orient the air flow generated at the level of the reservoir and of the diffusion element towards the outlet orifices 2, 10, and it allows the bottles to be left outside of this diffusion flow, which keeps away from possible fatty residues, and other dirt, linked to the diffusion of essential oils.

The dome is thus intended to protect the bottles of essential oil which have been placed in the housings provided for this purpose from all oily residues and various dusts, but also to direct the vapor generated by the diffusion element, here the plate ultrasonic, towards the air outlets, for a progressive and homogeneous diffusion.

It is advantageous to make the dome and the lid integral for various reasons, and in particular of practicality, of effectiveness of the diffusion of essential oil, and of effectiveness of protection of the bottles.

The fact that the dome and the cover are integral allows the user on the one hand to open the essential oil diffuser device with a single movement, and on the other hand to seal the flow towards the outlet d 'air. Indeed, we then ensure the correct position of the dome relative to the tank and relative to the cover so that the dome is well around the tank and that the outlet openings correspond, which in particular makes it possible to avoid a leak. steam diffused inside the cover. The flow comes out directly without the risk of falling back into the interior of the device, at the risk of soiling the bottles present in the latter.

The cover is made of an opaque material, so that the light does not change the characteristics of the essential oils present in the bottles stored inside the device.

In particular, provision may be made for the dome to be made of polypropylene material, or any other material which allows UV protection and protection against heat and which is resistant to particles of oils.

The cover can be made of thermoplastic polymer, for example acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), which allows in particular an impact resistance. Therefore, the dome and the cover are designed in two separate molds and are welded or glued in a later step. This choice of using several materials to produce these two advantageously integral components makes it possible to obtain an impact-resistant device, protecting essential oils, and at a lower cost.

We will now describe in more detail the operation of the device and its characteristics for diffusing essential oils according to the invention.

A user places his essential oil diffusion device 1 in his house. He positions it in his living room, on a flat surface like a coffee table for example.

The user opens the device 1 by separating the cover 3 from the base 5 of the device. In the advantageous embodiment of the invention according to which the cover 3 and the dome 9 are integral, the removal of the cover generates the simultaneous removal of the dome. In this way, the user has access to the reservoir 8 and to the bottles of essential oil 100. He fills the tank 8 with a little water and with a few drops of an essential oil chosen from the bottles stored in the housings 4 formed in the base 5.

In the present case serving in our nonlimiting example, the user wishes to use an essential oil of eucalyptus. It is then very easy for him to find the place where this bottle is stored, since the sought-after bottle 100 is simply placed in one of the three housings 4 provided for this purpose, inside the device 1 itself, and made accessible. by removing the cover. Once the user has placed a few drops of oil in the tank previously filled with water, all he has to do is replace the essential oil bottle 100 used in its housing 4, so that it is available for future use.

The user can then replace the dome 9 and then the cover 3 on the base 5, if necessary in a single operation when these two components are integral with one another, so as to close the device. The free end edge of the cover 3 is engaged in a suitable groove made in the upper face of the base, or around the peripheral portion 50, so as to seal the device 1, which prevents the introduction of dirt, dust, light inside the device which could dirty or degrade the bottle. When the dome is secured to the cover, this positioning of the cover ensures the appropriate positioning of the dome, that is to say around the tank to ensure that the vapor diffusing over the tank is directed towards the orifices outlet without leakage, and therefore without contact with the bottles housed inside the tank. We understand that this position of the dome is important for the preservation over time of the bottles and that if the dome were not to be secured to the cover, a reliable means of positioning the dome relative to the reservoir would be provided, for example a peripheral groove arranged between the tank and the bottles here not shown.

Once these operations have been carried out, the user can then press the start button 7 to be able to take full advantage of the device.

In operation, the device generates the vibration of the ultrasonic plate of the diffusion element 80 and the circulation of air, from the air inlet 6 to the air outlet 2, being previously mixed with the suspension essential oil generated by the vibration of the ultrasonic plate.

This path of the air flow has in particular been illustrated in four stages A, B, C, D in FIG. 3. The air flow arrives from the outside (arrow A) and passes through the air inlet 6 , then is guided inside the base (arrow B) to exit by a spray nozzle 11 in the vicinity of the tank 8, under the dome 9. The air flow expelled into the dome then mixes with the suspension of essential oil and goes towards the top of the dome 9, sucked towards the outlet orifice 10. The air flow propagates towards the outlet orifice (arrow C) taking a helical trajectory which allows a better diffusion oils. The outlet 10 of the dome communicates closely with the air outlet 2 of the cover 3 so that the scented air leaves the device (arrow D) to propagate in the confined space in which the device.

After a defined period of use, the user can stop the function by pressing the button a second time.

The next time, the user wants to dispense a different oil. It is again very easy for him to find the place where this second oil was stored, and does not have to worry about knowing if it is still consumable, since the fact that it was kept at the sheltered from UV and heat guarantees its good conservation. Its bottles are clean, healthy and easy to store and at the same time, to find.

The invention as it has just been described, use of the device for diffusing essential oils is simplified, easy and pleasant.

The foregoing description aims to explain how the invention makes it possible to achieve the objectives which it has set itself and in particular to propose a device for diffusing essential oils which makes it possible to easily use a plurality of bottles to respond quickly to his desire for an olfactory atmosphere. The proximity of the bottles thus allows the user to change the essential oil perfume as soon as he wishes, without however this position of proximity does not require subjecting the bottles to a penalizing exposure to UV or pollutants. The integration of the bottles in the device, and in particular under the cover, and if necessary between the dome and the cover, makes it possible to ensure a sealed storage area.

It should be noted that the invention is not limited to the sole device for diffusing essential oils in accordance with the embodiment explicitly described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. By way of nonlimiting examples, it is possible, without going out within the scope of the invention, modify the shape of the base, the dome and / or the cover, as well as the number and arrangement of the cavities configured to receive the bottles of essential oil.
