It is provided with two cheeks (1) and (2) which fit together on the lateral faces of the concrete block row to deposit a layer of mortar therein ensuring a regular thickness, this template providing on the upper face of the concrete block row a free volume for depositing the mortar, which is sufficient to level off with a rablette for a regular layer of mortar.

It then suffices to level off with a sandblaster to ensure the regularity of the applied joint.
