L'invention se rapporte à l'organe de guidage (1) d'une plaquette de frein (6) dans un corps d'étrier (3) de frein à disque, cet organe de guidage (1) comprenant un corps (8) incluant une empreinte s'emboîtant dans une rainure (2) du corps d'étrier et destinée à recevoir une oreille (4) de la plaquette de frein (6). L'empreinte est prolongée par un flanc supérieur (11) et par un flanc inférieur (12), et un élément de ressort (7) distinct du corps (8) est fixé à l'un des flancs (11, 12) de ce corps (8).
