Abstract

Shoe sole, comprising a substantially flat elongate base (2), adapted to support the sole of a foot (P) and having a front portion (21), a rear portion (22), side supports (31, 32) having respective free ends (311, 321) and a rear band (4) supported by the free ends (311, 321) of the supports (31, 32). DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a sole or an insole and a shoe comprising said sole or insole.

The difficulty of wearing open shoes, such as sandals, or closed, such as sneakers or loafers, which have fastidious fastening systems including strings, laces, straps, etc., which must be fixed around ankle or instep, and imply that the wearer makes the effort to bend down or uses a shoehorn.

This difficulty is certainly felt by people of all ages, and therefore the need to solve or at least minimize this disadvantage is felt.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

The main object of the present invention is, therefore, to improve the state of the art in the field of shoes.

More particularly, an object of the present invention is to provide an insole or insole that is easy to wear by adhering to the foot of the person, without the aid of strips or straps to fix around the ankle or around the neck -of foot.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a sole or insole that can be manufactured in a simple manner and at a competitive price.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a shoe that is easy to wear / remove, without the person wearing it needs to bend or use a shoehorn.

A specific object of the present invention is a sole or insole comprising: at least one substantially flat elongated base adapted to support, during use, the sole of a foot and having a front portion and at least a rear portion; ; at least lateral supports extending upwardly from said at least one rear part of said at least one elongated base, on opposite sides with respect to an anteroposterior longitudinal axis of said at least one elongated base and having free ends respective; and - at least one rear band supported by said free ends of said supports, and intended, during use, to surround from above and behind the heel of said foot, said rear band being on a plane which is substantially inclined by relative to the plane of said at least one elongated base; and characterized in that said supports converge substantially away from said at least one elongated base, thereby defining, with said at least one back band, an engagement seat for said foot.

MODES FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

Referring now in particular to Figures 1 and 2 attached, it will be noted that the sole or insole according to the present invention is generally indicated by reference numeral 1 and comprises at least one elongated base 2, substantially flat, designed to support the sole of a foot P and having a front portion 21 and a rear portion 22. The sole or the insole according to the invention further comprises at least side supports 31 and 32, extending upwardly from said to minus a rear portion 22 of the elongated base 2, on opposite sides with respect to an anteroposterior longitudinal axis thereof, the side supports having respective free ends 311 and 321.

The sole or insole according to the present invention further comprises at least one rear band 4 supported by the free ends 311 and 321 of said side supports 31 and 32, and intended, during use, to surround, from above and from the back, the heel of the foot (P) of a person wearing it.

According to one aspect of the present invention, the rear band 4 is on a plane P1 substantially inclined with respect to the plane of said at least one elongated base 2.

Advantageously, the lateral supports 31 and 32 converge substantially away from the elongated base 2 and thus define, with the rear band 4, an engagement seat 4a for a foot P.

More particularly, the supports 31 and 32 of the sole or insole according to the present invention are made of rubber or a similar material, and extend from the elongated base at the sides of the heel, and support the band. rear 4, which surrounds the heel from the rear and prevents it from going up during a movement.

The two supports 31 and 32, which may have a cylindrical, elliptical, rectangular or other cross-section, extend upwards from the elongate base 2 under the ankle, slightly rearwardly relative thereto, towards the Heel sides, where the heel is refined, and help keep it in position, thanks to their lateral grip on its upper part.

The back band 4 which joins the free ends 311 and 321 of the two supports is made of the same material as the supports 31 and 32 and the elongated base 2, or is composed of a material which has similar characteristics, and is positioned behind the heel and holding stuck in position during a motion.

The sole or insole 1 according to the present invention further comprises a front band 5, mounted on the elongated base 2 at its front portion 21, and adapted to delineate, during use, a seat for the front portion of the foot P, during insertion.

According to one aspect of the invention, the sole or insole according to the invention is manufactured in one piece, with the same matrix, and is composed of rubber or a similar material. As a variant, at least one elongate base 2, the supports 31 and 32, the rear band 4 and the front band 5 are obtained separately and then assembled. In a variant, the supports 31 and 32 and the rear band 4 are made in one piece, while an elongated base 2 and possibly the front band 5 are formed separately. In this regard, the lateral supports 31 and 32 can be fixed on the elongate base 2 for insertion into suitable through openings, not shown in the figures, formed in the same base 2.

For example, the supports 31 and 32 have respective connecting ends with the elongated base 2, indicated in the drawings by references 321 and 312, which are provided with external flanges and have a larger cross-section with respect to the respective openings, so that, once inserted into said through openings, they remain limited to the elongate base 2.

Optionally, the lateral supports 31 and 32 are crimped into the through openings and / or glued to the elongate base 2, at said through openings.

Referring to the rear band 4, it is fixed on the supports 31 and 32, when it is not manufactured integrally therewith, by gluing, or with the aid of rivets or similar processes.

Optionally, the rear band 4 is adjustable and, in at least one free end 311 or 312 of a support 31 or 32, at least one slot is formed (not shown in the drawings), so that the rear band 4 can be inserted in said slot and foldable on itself, and can be locked in position with Velcro ® or a buckle provided with a barb.

The present invention further relates to a shoe comprising a sole or insole as described above.

With this shoe, a foot P which carries a shoe comprising the sole or insole 1 above, is held in position by the front band 5, the rear band 4, by strings of flip flops, or a shoe upper. The front band 5, the ropes or the rod may be composed of rubber, fabric, skin, leather or similar materials, depending on whether the shoes are sandals, moccasins or sports shoes.

Advantageously, a shoe according to the present invention comprises at least one outsole 6 and a sole or insole 1 as described above, applied to the outsole 6 at a face thereof, opposite to that intended to come into contact with the ground.

A shoe according to the present invention may further comprise a shoe upper and a reinforcement comprised of rubber, plastic or metal, extending upwardly from the rear of the sole, within said top, up to at a rear portion of the rear band 4, said reinforcement supporting from below the rear band 4 and thus preventing the back band 4 from compressing due to the effect of the pressure exerted by the heel during the insertion , so as to facilitate the ascent of the rear band as soon as the heel of the foot has come into contact with the elongated base 2.

The supports 31 and 32 with the back band 4, made of rubber or a similar material, can be applied to closed shoes by means of two or four pins which are crimped and glued to the sole of the shoe. Alternatively, it is possible to insert the sole or the insole 1, molded with rubber or a similar material in one piece, and comprising the supports 31 and 32 and the rear band 4, inside the shoe, just above the outsole 6, or it is possible to use the sole or the insole 1, made of rubber or a similar material, and comprising the supports 31 and 32 and the rear band 4, like a sole itself, and apply over the top and a soft inner sole, to make the movement more comfortable.

The sole or the insole 1 or, as the case may be, the sole or the insole 1 with a flexible insole on top, will allow the shoes to be worn without stooping and without using a shoehorn or the like, thus ensuring foot maximum stability.

In addition, in closed shoes, when the heel goes down, it exerts a pressure which causes the rear band 4, including the rod which covers it, to retract and separate the supports from one another. The heel, once in contact with the elongate base 2, is held by the rear band 4 and the supports 31 and 32, which then prevent the heel from rising and sliding synergistically during a movement.

In closed shoes, the shank around the back band can prevent movement of the back band up and down. To avoid this, it is possible to insert a thin central reinforcement made of rubber, plastic or metal, which goes up from the elongate base 2, inside the rod, to the center of the band rear 4 and supports from below, preventing it from too much compress down, and facilitating its recovery during the insertion of the foot.

The reinforcement can be connected to the band by gluing, sewing, or other methods, and can also be used to support the back band of sandals, so as to make it more resistant and to facilitate, even in this case, its ascent after the passage of the heel.

In order to obtain sandals, the elongated base 2 with the supports 31 and 32 may be thicker, be made of rubber or a similar material, or may be thin and combined with another insole / insole glued under or over , based on the requirements of strength, stability and comfort. The front band 5 can be obtained with the elongated base 2, the supports 31 and 32 and the rear band 4, with a single mold, and can be made of rubber or a similar material, or can be applied on the sole by the following.

In this case, the base 2 is printed as usual using rubber or other material, and the supports 31 and 32 can be inserted successively. The rear band 4 may also be molded with the base 2 and the supports 31 and 32, or separately, and then be fixed to the supports 31 and 32 by gluing, or using rivets or other methods. The rear band 4 can be adjustable.
