L'invention concerne un moteur (1) à combustion interne comprenant - un carter cylindre (2) comportant au moins un cylindre, - une culasse (3) comportant au moins un conduit d'échappement communiquant avec le cylindre, Selon l'invention, le moteur (1) comprend un système d'injection d'air à l'échappement (4) comportant au moins un conduit d'air (41) et au moins un orifice pratiqué dans la culasse (3), le conduit d'air (41) comportant une sortie d'air disposée en vis-à-vis de l'orifice de la culasse (3), ledit orifice débouchant dans le conduit d'échappement de la culasse (3).
