Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de localisation d'un dispositif portable (P') d'accès « mains libres » à un véhicule (V'), par un dispositif de localisation (D') destiné à être embarqué dans le véhicule (V'), ledit dispositif portable (P') communiquant avec ledit dispositif de localisation (D') par ondes ultra haute fréquence, l'invention consistant à chaque émission d'un signal ultra haute fréquence par le dispositif de localisation (D') : • à émettre simultanément (étape E1) par le dispositif de localisation (D') au moins un signal ultra sonore, à destination du dispositif portable (P'), • à mesurer un délai (Δt) (étape E6) entre un premier temps de réception (t1) du signal ultra haute fréquence et un deuxième temps de réception (t2) du signal ultra sonore par le dispositif portable (P'), • à déterminer une distance (d) (étape E9) entre le dispositif portable (P') et le dispositif de localisation (D') à partir du délai ainsi mesuré. L'invention concerne également un dispositif de localisation (D') et un dispositif portable (P') correspondant.
