Abstract

Duvet cover device to allow each partner to have their own warm comfort for sleeping. The invention relates to a device allowing each person to choose his duvet thickness and to fold it back partially or almost completely without hindering the other. This duvet cover is made up of two equal and symmetrical compartments, allowing a duvet of a different thickness to be inserted on each side, connected in the middle by an assembly tab and possibly completed by a lower part serving to border at the bottom of the bed. The device according to the invention is intended for couples who wish to have different warmth comfort for sleeping.

Description

The present invention relates to a dual compartment duvet cover device for dissociating the thicknesses and therefore the heats thus felt, depending on the need of each of the two users.

The duvet covers already on the market only allow to insert one type of duvet and thus provides a uniform heat, which may not be suitable for one or other of the partners and can thus be found embarrassed in his comfort.

The duvet cover according to the invention overcomes this drawback: it comprises two distinct parts (1 and 2) and separated by a closing tab (3) which can be partially or totally open depending on the need of each user, each part having an opening from the bottom, allowing to insert a heat duvet or different thickness on each side.

According to the embodiment, the closure lug (3) comprises a removable fastening system closed by buttons and buttonholes, or by a zipper, or by knots, or snaps, or by a tape system. self-gripping, or by any other closure system that can be adapted to textile manufacture.

The device can therefore open by the middle at the level of this removable fastening tab to allow to fold more or less part. (Figure 2 and Figure 4)

According to the method of manufacture, the duvet cover will be characterized in that the distinct parts (1 and 2) comprise a lower part, (4) serving as a junction and a common opening between the two parts on the one hand, and border under the mattress on the other hand (Figures 1, 2, 4 and 5)

According to a variant of manufacture, the duvet cover, if the separate parts (1 and 2) have no lower part, they have an opening on each side in the lower seam to insert the duvet, comprising a system detachable fastener fastened by buttons and buttonholes, or by a zipper, or by knots, or by snaps, or by a self-gripping tape system, or by any other fastening system that can be adapted to the textile manufacturing (Figure 3).

Figure 1 shows the double compartment duvet cover with lower part for border, in the closed position by the buttons.

Figure 2 shows the same partially open duvet cover.

Figure 3 shows the double compartment duvet cover without lower part.

Figure 4 shows the double-compartment duvet cover with a thin duvet on the left side, and a thicker duvet on the right.

Figure 5 illustrates the use of the double compartment duvet cover: one of the partners chose a thin duvet for his side and, moreover, opened part of his duvet, without disturbing the other person, who sleeps well wrapped up in its warmer duvet cover part.

With reference to these illustrations, the device comprises two distinct and symmetrical parts, assembled by a button placket in the middle, (FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and a part with a common low opening serving to tuck under the bottom of the mattress (Figures 1,2, 4, 5).

According to a variant dawn, the device will not include this lower part for the bottom of the bed. (Figure 3) The openings will then be separated, at the bottom of each of the two parts

This duvet cover can be made of any fabric suitable for bed linen, (cotton, cotton / linen, linen / polyester, polyester / cotton, etc.).

The duvet cover will be made according to the measurements of duvet two people existing on the market, divided into two parts symmetrical with respect to the axis of the length, on both sides of the placket connecting them.

So each part will consist of two layers of fabric, sewn together, thus forming an envelope for each quilt, with opening in the lower part and a removable assembly lug in the middle.

The device according to the invention is intended to be manufactured by textile manufacturers for signs selling household linen, for customers who would like to have two thicknesses of heat for the same double bed and thus obtain optimum comfort of sleep.

1 / Duvet cover for a double bed, characterized in that it comprises two distinct parts (1 and 2) and separated by a closing tab (3) which can open partially or totally according to the needs of each user, each part having an opening from the bottom, allowing to insert a heat duvet or different thickness on each side. 2 / duvet cover according to claim 1 characterized in that the closure tab comprises a removable fastening system closed by buttons and buttonholes, or by a zipper, or by knots, or by snaps, or by a self-gripping band system, or by any other closure system that can be adapted to textile manufacturing. 3 / duvet cover according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the separate parts (1 and 2) comprise a lower part, (4) serving as a junction and a common opening between the two parts on the one hand , and border under the mattress on the other hand, (figure 1,2,4 and 5) 4 / duvet cover according to claim 1 or 2 characterized in that the distinct parts (1 and 2) comprise an opening in the lower seam in order to insert the duvet, comprising a removable fastening system closed by buttons and buttonholes, or by a zipper, or by knots, or snaps, or by a self-gripping tape system, or by any other closure system that can be adapted to textile manufacture (Figure 3).
