Abstract
Dans un applicateur (10) de traitement thermique d'un produit (90), le produit est exposé à un rayonnement électromagnétique micro-ondes dans un guide d'ondes d'exposition (30), dans lequel des micro-ondes sont injectées et se propagent suivant un mode de propagation monomode. L'applicateur (10) comporte un système d'entraînement (40) du produit (90) en un flux continu suivant la direction longitudinale de la cavité (32) du guide d'onde d'exposition entre l'ouverture d'entrée (33) et l'ouverture de sortie (34).La cavité du guide d'ondes d'exposition peut être torique, cylindrique ou autre. Un dispositif de traitement de produit comporte au moins un applicateur (10) et au moins un générateur d'ondes continu CW. Le produit, chauffé par le rayonnement micro-ondes continu CW dans le dispositif, est soumis à un procédé de traitement thermique suivant une courbe de température fonction du temps, résultant notamment d'une vitesse de déplacement du produit dans le guide d'ondes d'exposition (30) et d'une puissance de rayonnement micro-ondes introduit dans le guide d'ondes d'exposition à chaque emplacement d'injection.
