A cet effet, l’invention a notamment pour objet une structure de siège pour un véhicule de transport public, notamment un véhicule ferroviaire, comprenant : - au moins un siège, comportant un dossier et une assise, - au moins un organe de support du siège, comprenant des premiers moyens de fixation à une paroi structurelle du véhicule, et des seconds moyens de fixation au siège, caractérisée en ce que chaque organe de support comporte : - une première partie, sensiblement horizontale, agencée en dessous de l’assise du siège dans une direction verticale et fixée à cette assise par les seconds moyens de fixation, et - une seconde partie solidaire de la première partie, sensiblement verticale, s’étendant en dessous de la première partie dans la direction verticale, et comprenant les premiers moyens de fixation. L’organe de support s’étend intégralement en dessous de l’assise du siège, donc ne s’étend pas entre la paroi structurelle et le dossier du siège.
