- Le dispositif (1) comporte une unité de calcul (8) pour calculer, en temps réel, une première limite dépendant d'une hauteur de décision entrée par un pilote et une seconde limite dépendant de la hauteur courante de l'aéronef et pour sélectionner, comme limite d'alerte, la valeur maximale entre la première limite et la seconde limite, une unité de calcul (9) pour calculer, en temps réel, une limite de protection dépendant de performances de l'aéronef, une unité de comparaison (10) pour comparer la limite de protection à la limite d'alerte, et une unité d'alerte (13) pour émettre un signal d'alerte si la limite de protection est supérieure à la limite d'alerte.
