The present invention called "AMARSECUR" relates to a mooring line for anchoring boats on a buoy or other anchorage point in ports or other. The buoy is connected by a chain to a "dead body" (mass of concrete) immersed at the bottom of the water. The mooring has the function of connecting the rope (or "end" in the language of the yachting) of the boat to the ring located at the top of the buoy, thus ensuring the maintenance of the boat on its buoy with a maximum level of security . The invention relates to a device for holding a boat on its anchor buoy in a port for example, by a single mechanical piece of stainless steel or other material. More precisely, the invention comprises two particularities: a device according to which the binding rope to the boat is protected from mechanical erosion due to friction on the buoy, by a box. the axis passing through the ring of the buoy and the ring of buoy itself are protected from mechanical erosion thanks to a rotating ring on its axis. Thus: - there is more relative movements of the rope compared to the mooring and therefore more mechanical erosion at the origin of premature wear of the rope. there is no more wear of the axis passing through the buoy ring nor wear of the buoy ring itself because during relative movements of the mooring relative to the buoy ring, the ring rotates on said axis.
The state of the prior art consists of two mechanical parts (plane A: an eyelet rep 1 and a shackle rep 2) which connect the rope to the buoy. In this configuration, the rope is exposed to mechanical erosion by repeated friction on the buoy (plane A: "wear zone of the rope") The eyelet consists of a half-tube forged in the form of "drop of water "(plane A, rep 1) It receives the rope closed by a splice The other piece called" shackle "(plane A, rep 2), ensures the connection of Pceillet to the ring of the buoy (plane A, rep 3) According to conventional mooring techniques, the rope (plane A: rep 4) in constant contact with the buoy constantly moving (wave effect), wears prematurely by mechanical friction. the rope causes a reduction of its section and consequently a reduction of its mechanical resistance. The boat is then exposed to the danger of a rupture of its moorings.Always according to the traditional techniques of mooring, the axis (plane A: rep 5) of the shackle (plane A: rep 2) which passes through the ring of the buoy, is subjected to strong erosion permanent friction "iron on iron". In the same way and by reaction, the ring of the buoy is exposed to premature wear. This friction of the axis on the buoy ring also tends to unscrew the axis of the shackle, causing a risk of breaking the mooring of the boat. In all these cases, wear of the rope, wear of the axis of the shackle, unscrewing of the axis, wear of 40 the ring of the buoy, the maintenance of the boat on its buoy is no longer ensured, the boat risk to break off his moorings. These premature wear rings buoys also entail high buoy maintenance costs for ports. The present invention particularly aims to eliminate these 4 disadvantages (wear of the rope 45, wear of the axis of the shackle, unscrewing of the axis, wear of the ring of the buoy) of the prior art while replacing 2 mechanical parts (eyelet, rep 1 and shackle, rep 2) by only one. According to the principle of the invention, the rope circumvents a tube (plane B, rep 1) forming a closed loop, maintained by a splice. The loop thus formed is fully protected 50 mechanical aggression of the buoy by a metal wall on its 4 sides (2 flat protection of the rope, plane B, rep 7 and 2 sides, plane B, rep 5) thus forming a housing. According to the principle of the invention, the axis (plane B, rep 2) passing through the ring of the buoy (plane B rep 3) is provided with an anti-wear rotating ring (plane B, rep 4) which suppresses any direct friction of said axis on the ring of the buoy. Thus with each movement of the axis on the buoy ring, the ring turns on itself, and thus eliminates the direct friction "iron on iron" of the axis on the ring. By design, the axis passing through the ring of the buoy, bears on the two sides (plane B, rep 5) according to the principle of mechanical assembly by clevis. In addition, the pin tightened on the nut welded to one of the flanks is held tight by a lock nut-type "nylstop". In practice, the mooring object of the invention consists of two sidewalls (plane B, rep 5) connected to each other by means of the welded tube (plane B, rep 1) on which the rope is supported as well as the spacer rod. (plane B, rep 6) and closed on the outside by two plates (plane B, rep 7) of protection of the rope. Said dishes themselves include a fold at the entry of the rope to avoid any sharp stop in contact with the rope. Said flanks 65 also receive the axis passing through the ring of the buoy, which axis ensures the connection of the mooring to the buoy. The rotating ring (plane B, rep 4) for protecting the axis and the ring of the buoy is placed "free", that is to say able to turn on said axis, between the two sides. In summary, the mooring consists of 7 pieces welded together: two sidewalls (plane B, rep 6), 70 a spacer tube (plane B, rep 1), a spacer rod (plane B, rep 6), 2 dishes of protection of the rope (plane B, rep 7) and a nut on the one hand and 3 removable parts, an axis (plane B, rep 2), a rotating ring (plane B, rep 4) and a lock nut type "Nylstop", on the other hand.
With such a technique, the rope as well as the axis passing through the ring of the buoy, the ring of the buoy itself are no longer subject to mechanical erosion and premature wear.
The mooring also has no sharp edges. The reliability of mooring boats is greatly improved. The maintenance costs borne by the ports are reduced. The scope of this invention covers all boats moored to a buoy or other anchor, at sea, lake or river but not only. The use of such a technique can be extended on crane or traction steel cables for industrial applications.
