Abstract

Ce filtre (12) pour la purification d'une eau polluée d'aquarium est caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte un récipient (20) présentant une entrée d'eau polluée sous pression (11) en partie basse et au moins une sortie d'eau filtrée en partie haute, ledit récipient (20) étant partiellement rempli d'un milieu de biofiltration, plus léger que l'eau, sur lequel un biofilm bactérien épurateur est apte à se développer ou est développé, ledit film renfermant des bactéries nitrifiantes aptes à biodégrader les composés azotés issus du métabolisme des animaux de l'aquarium (1), ledit récipient (20) présentant également en partie basse une sortie (30) de purge de la masse bactérienne excédentaire qui peut au cours du temps se détacher du milieu de biofiltration.
