L'invention concerne notamment un bandeau destiné à être incorporé dans un document de sécurité, ce bandeau émergeant à la surface dudit document sous la forme de fenêtres, et comprenant un matériau support (4) transparent ou translucide, recouvert, sur l'une ou l'autre de ses faces opposées, d'au moins trois couches (51, 52, 53) distinctes et superposées de revêtement, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend notamment une deuxième couche intermédiaire (52) qui présente un rendu optique différent de celui des première et troisième couches (51, 53) ; - la deuxième couche intermédiaire (52) étant opaque et comportant au moins deux régions (520) au moins partiellement dépourvues de revêtement, ces deux régions (520) présentant respectivement des contours différents.
