Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de verre fondu par un dispositif comprenant d'amont en aval un four de fusion et d'affinage de verre muni de brûleurs aériens transversaux, puis un bassin de conditionnement alimenté en verre par le four, le dimensionnement du dispositif de fabrication étant tel que K soit supérieur à 3,5, le facteur K étant déterminé à partir des dimensions du dispositif. L'invention permet de dimensionner un dispositif de fusion de verre de plus faible dimension et consommant moins d'énergie tout en menant à un verre de bonne qualité.
