Abstract

L'invention porte sur un catalyseur trois voies (8) qui est apte à réaliser trois réactions distinctes, dont une réaction de réduction d'oxydes d'azote en diazote et dioxyde de carbone, une oxydation du monoxyde de carbone en dioxyde de carbone et une oxydation d'hydrocarbures imbrulés en dioxyde de carbone et en eau et qui est destiné à équiper une ligne d'échappement (4) dont est pourvu un moteur à combustion interne (1) d'un véhicule automobile. Le catalyseur trois voies (8) comprend un premier catalyseur trois voies élémentaire (8a) qui comporte un substrat métallique et un deuxième catalyseur trois voies élémentaire (8b) qui comporte un substrat céramique.
