Description

The invention relates to a garment comprising at least one covering part of an area of the body of a wearer, in particular an upper body garment.

In particular, this garment can be in the form of a jacket or a vest that is worn in particular on a boat and / or near the water, for example for the practice of a sporting activity or leisure nautical, such as sailing, kayaking or fishing.

The garment has a function of buoyancy aid that supports the wearer in the water, especially in case of falling into the water to reduce the risk of drowning. For this purpose, the garment may comprise a lining made from a material whose density is arranged to provide said garment with a buoyancy function, in particular to meet normative constraints. For example, flotation garments having pockets in which is incorporated a closed cell foam lining which is in the form of bulky and loosely flexible loaves that can be made integrally or by superposition of sheets associated with each other. However, because of their size and / or lack of flexibility, these fillings make the wearing of clothing uncomfortable, see embarrassing, limiting the freedom of movement of the wearer, which is even more restrictive in the context of a nautical activity. In addition, these clothes have an aesthetics and ergonomics that limit their use to nautical practice, the structure and rigidity of their flotation linings not allowing a satisfactory fit of the garment on the body of the wearer. Such clothing can thus be difficult to wear eg daily or for other outdoor activities.

Such a garment does not give complete satisfaction in that the shape of the beads induces a rough feel that makes the wearing of said garment unpleasant, especially in connection with everyday use. In addition, the movement of the balls can cause a heterogeneous distribution of said beads in the pockets, such as their agglomeration in the bottom of each pocket, thus harming the comfort of the garment. The invention aims to improve the prior art by providing a garment whose buoyancy function is performed satisfactorily while ensuring optimum comfort and freedom of movement to the wearer in order to be worn during and / or outside of a nautical activity. For this purpose, the invention proposes a garment comprising at least one covering part of an area of the body of a wearer, said covering part having two respectively inner and outer panels associated so as to form at least one pocket in which a packing made of at least one material having a density which is arranged to provide said garment with a buoyancy function, said lining comprising a set of strips of material which are dissociated from each other, each of said strips having a large diameter dimension that is greater than at least twice its thickness. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear in the description which follows, made with reference to the appended figures, in which: FIG. 1 is a front view of a covering part of a garment according to a method of embodiment of the invention in which strips of material are extracted from a pocket of said garment; - Figure 2 is a schematic representation showing the arrangement of the liner between two textile panels of a garment according to the invention. In connection with these figures, there is described below a garment comprising at least a covering portion of an area of the body of a wearer. The garment may be worn in the first, second or third layer, especially on the upper part of the body, said garment being in the form of a jacket or a vest comprising a covering portion of the torso of the wearer.

In particular, the lap portion of the torso may comprise a front portion and a rear portion intended to be arranged facing respectively the chest and back of the wearer, said front portion may be provided with a longitudinal opening to allow threading clothing. The opening may be equipped with a reversible closure means, such as a zipper and / or Velcro strips. In addition, the garment may comprise two sleeves each forming a covering portion of an arm of the wearer, and a neck and a hood forming a covering portion respectively of the neck and the head of said wearer. The garment can be waterproofed and / or windproof to protect the wearer when the weather conditions are unfavorable, for example in bad weather. For this purpose, the covering portion of the garment comprises an outer textile panel 1 which can be made from a material having thermal insulation and / or impermeability properties. The outer panel 1 may have undergone specific water repellent treatment to improve the resistance of the garment to the penetration of water. Furthermore, the outer panel 1 can be breathable, abrasion-resistant and / or non-flammable depending on the use of the garment.

The covering portion comprises an inner textile panel 2 which is superimposed and associated with the inner wall of the outer panel 1 for example by sewing or welding, the association lines 3 of said panels can be sealed to ensure the impermeability of the garment. In particular, the panels 1, 2 are associated so as to form between them at least one pocket 4 in which is disposed a liner, said lining may in particular be arranged to enhance the thermal insulation properties of the garment.

In relation to FIG. 1, the panels 1, 2 are fixed together along vertical and horizontal lines 3a and 3b so as to form a quadrilateral pocket lattice 4, the periphery of each pocket 4 being defined by a line of association 3 between said panels. The pockets 4 have identical dimensions, the pocket lattice may extend partially or over the entire surface of the garment according to its use and / or the desired aesthetic aspects. Alternatively, the pockets 4 may have different geometries, may also be different from each other. The inner panel 2 may be made of a material identical to or different from that of the outer panel 1. Advantageously, the inner panel 2 may be made from a material permeable to water for the evacuation of water and moisture that can be contained in the pockets 4 in particular to facilitate the drying of the lining and the garment.

The garment can be adapted to be worn at all times, especially for the practice of a sporting activity or leisure subject to varying climatic conditions. In particular, the garment has a buoyancy aid function allowing its wearing during water activities, such as sailing, kayaking and / or fishing, as a substitute for conventional personal flotation assistance equipment. For this purpose, the lining may be made based on at least one material whose density is arranged, in particular by including a volume of gas, to ensure the buoyancy function of the garment in particular in case of the wearer falling into the water . In addition, the lining can be distributed in each pocket 4 so that its volume of gas can ensure a thermal protection of the wearer, especially to avoid the risk of hypothermia in case of prolonged maintenance in water. The fill rate of the lining in the pockets 4 may vary according to the degree of buoyancy and thermal protection of the desired garment, said rate may also be different from one pocket 4 relative to another depending on the position of said pocket relatively to the wearer's body area covered by said garment. For example, the pockets 4 arranged facing the back and / or the chest of the wearer may have a quantity of lining which is greater than that of the pockets 4 arranged at the sleeves of the garment, in order to promote the movements of the arms of said wearer. especially if said carrier has to swim in the water. The panels 1, 2 may have a color facilitating the identification of the wearer in the water and / or reflective strips fixed on their outer walls, said garment may also be equipped with gripping means arranged to allow the retrieval of said wearer, such a harness. The lining of each pocket 4 comprises an assembly 5 of strips of material 6 which are dissociated from each other so as to ensure the deformability of said assembly, the shape of said assembly can thus be adapted to the use in order to promote the flexibility and the comfort of the garment without loss of buoyancy.

In particular, the strips of material 6 are arranged to be able to be folded and / or move relatively relative to each other, in particular during the compression of the pockets 4 and / or during the movements of the wearer out of or into the water.

Thus, the deformability of the lining makes it possible to adjust the garment to the body shapes of the wearer, said garment possibly having lines and a cut adapted to the needs of said wearer and / or the desired design. According to one embodiment, each set 5 of strips of material 6 can be freely disposed in the corresponding pocket 4, said assembly being in particular dissociated from the walls of the panels 1, 2 to promote its deformations. To ensure the garment an optimal buoyancy function, especially greater than the applicable standards, the material forming the strips 6 has a density well below 1, for example by being made from a closed cell foam, said foam may for example be based on expanded polyethylene and / or polyurethane. Alternatively, the material forming the strips 6 may be cork-based.

The strips of material 6 may be made in particular by cutting closed cell foam webs, in particular by ensuring that the air cells are not pierced during said cutting. The characteristics of density and buoyancy of the material of the lining may be modified according to the country of approval of the garment in order to adapt the buoyancy function of said garment to the requirements of the standards in force in said country. The strips of material 6 each have a large dimension which is greater than at least twice their thickness, thus favoring the flexibility and the relative displacement of said strips within the assembly 5 in order to optimize the compromise between the comfort qualities of the clothing, including its softness to the touch, its weight and flexibility, and its buoyancy functions. In particular, this compromise is optimized when each of the strips of material 6 has a large dimension which is greater than at least five times its thickness, in particular being greater than ten times said thickness. The garment is designed to be used during a nautical activity as permanent buoyancy equipment whose comfort allows the wearer to move out or in the water without being bothered by said garment, while being able to be worn on a daily basis or for other outdoor activities, guaranteeing freedom of movement and feel comparable to a standard everyday insulated jacket, such as a down jacket.

According to one embodiment, each strip of material 6 has a thickness less than or equal to 5 mm, said thickness advantageously being between 0.5 and 1.5 mm to optimize the flexibility of said strips and therefore the touch of the garment. In addition, the surface of each strip of material 6 is less than or equal to 50 cm 2, advantageously being between 2 and 5 cm 2, in order to promote the relative movement of the strips. The buoyancy function can be easily adjusted by the number of strips of material 6 which is arranged in the pockets 4. In particular, a large quantity of strips of material 6 each having a low density can be used to jointly promote the buoyancy function. and the comfort of the garment. The strips of material 6 can each have a quadrilateral geometry whose large dimension is less than or equal to three times the small dimension. Alternatively, the geometry of the strips 6 may be oval or triangular. The dimensions and the geometries of the strips 6 may be different within the same set 5 and / or from one pouch 4 to another depending, for example, on the use of the garment and / or the desired degree of buoyancy.

In relation to FIG. 2, each strip of material 6 has a rectangular geometry, said strip possibly having for example a length of 3 cm and a width of 1 cm for a thickness of 1 mm. In addition to optimizing the weight / buoyancy ratio of the garment, the dimensions of such strips of material 6 facilitate the drying of said garment, said bands not gorging water.

In addition to the strips of material 6, the lining shown in FIG. 2 comprises microbeads 7 which are integrated into the set of strips 6 to promote the relative movement of said strips and to reinforce the buoyancy function of the garment. For this purpose, the microbeads 7 may be made from a polyester or polystyrene foam with a maximum dimension of 3 mm and advantageously less than 1 mm. Each set of strips 5 of material 6 thus comprises a plurality of microbeads 7 dispersed between said strips to promote the sliding of said strips between them in order to avoid their agglomeration in an area of the pocket 4 and thus to improve the distribution of said strips in said pocket for optimum comfort and thermal insulation. Thus, the lining of each pocket 4 of the garment has qualities of flexibility and feel comparable to a traditional lining of a jacket such as a filling made of down or cotton wool. In addition, the lining may comprise at least one foam-based sheet of material 8 which is arranged in the pocket 4 while being associated against the inner wall of at least one panel 1, 2. According to the embodiment shown, a sheet of material 8 is associated against the inner walls of the panels respectively outer 1 and inner 2 in order to increase the buoyancy and / or the thermal insulation of the garment. Each sheet of material 8 may be associated with the panels 1, 2 for example by sewing at the association lines 3 between said panels or against gluing. Advantageously, the material sheets 8 have a thickness of between 0.5 mm and 2 mm allowing the wearer not to perceive the strips of material 6 and / or the microbeads 7, and thus to reinforce the qualities of softness to the touch of the garment. .

According to one embodiment, the assembly 5 can be separated from each of the sheets of material 8 by a layer, for example a textile layer, in order to prevent the microbeads 7 from coming into contact with the panels 1, 2 in the event of tearing of said sheets .
