Abstract

La présente invention concerne des produits plastiques et des compositions pour la fabrication de tels plastiques, obtenus à partir de sources naturelles dégradables dans l'environnement. A cet effet, l'invention concerne une composition à base de polymères pour la fabrication d'un produit plastique dégradable dans l'environnement, comprenant un composant d'algues et au moins un composé plastifiant, caractérisée en ce que ledit composant d'algues est constitué entre 20 et 40 %, en poids, d'un extrait de polysaccharides raffinés de macro-algues non alimentaires, ou entre 20 à 65 %, en poids, d'un extrait de polysaccharides semi-raffinés de macro-algues non alimentaires, dans laquelle les macro-algues non alimentaires sont des algues vertes, en particulier du genre Ulva ou des algues brunes, en particulier du genre Sargassum.
