Description
The present invention relates to a filling or test adapter for cans or fluid circuits. Said filling adapter serves as an interface between the opening or the neck of a can or circuit to be filled or tested, and the filling and / or test installation.
To carry out leak testing of cans and hydraulic circuits, then their refilling, the operator has an element generally called adapter or filling tip, or corking handle, (and simply adapter in the following text) and connected at the end of a sheath (containing the electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic connections) connected to a test or filling bench to a cabinet or a mobile platform on the edge of the line. The adapter currently used, and as disclosed for example in EP 1538 125B2, is of the type shown diagrammatically in FIG. 1. The body (A) of the adapter has a gripping sleeve-handle (C) connected to the test system. (not shown) by a connecting sheath (D), and a centering head (E) 15 provided with an anti-drop system. The filling adapter is centered in the neck by a cylindrical filling sleeve (B) axially traversed by the fluid conduit. In this system, the effectiveness of the anti-drip system is not perfect and can observe fluid leakage of the conduit to the outside, as well as pollution of the fluid 20 remained inside the conduit. To overcome the disadvantages of the prior art, the applicant has sought to overcome the anti-drop system to make the adapter fully waterproof in the rest position. This object is achieved by the invention which consists of an adapter for filling or testing hydraulic cans or circuits according to the features of claim 1. The invention will be better understood from the following description given in FIG. reference to the following appended figures: FIG. 1: simplified view of an adapter of the prior art, FIG. 2: overall view of the adapter according to the invention, FIG. 3: longitudinal sectional view of the adapter of FIG. FIG. 2, FIG. 4: three-dimensional view in partial section of the invention, FIGS. 5, 6, 7: partial section view of the lower end of the adapter of FIG. 4, showing respectively the three steps; operating principle: - at rest (FIG. 5) 35 - filling (FIG. 6) - positioning of the adapter on the neck of a can (FIG. 7), The adapter of FIGS. 2 and 3 is in its entirety conform to that of FIG. of the prior art, that is to say with: - a body (1) composed of a gripper handle connected to a test cabinet (not shown) by a connecting sleeve and electrical and pneumatic connections, - a head (2) equipped with a connection interface between the filling adapter and a neck of the can or circuit to fill or test. This interface has a centering piece for fixing on the neck, sealing and product distribution. The adapter according to the invention differs from that of the prior art in that it has a retractable cannula (3) which does not open at its end, in place of the anti-drop system. The retractable cannula is movable in translation relative to the head (2). The centering piece (4) is fixed on the neck. A seal (5) seals between the head (2) and said neck (8). A passage between the cannula (3) and the head (2) allows the air from the reservoir to be sucked back. fill and thus ensure the emptying or equipressure of this tank. In the "rest" position (fig. 5), the retractable cannula is raised in the body of the adapter to ensure a completely sealed closure with the head. This sealed closure has the advantage of not allowing the liquid contained in the body of the cannula to flow, it thus provides an anti-gout function.
Préférentiellement, l'invention s'applique au remplissage des circuits automobiles 35Watertight closure allows the cleaning and rinsing of the adapter between two filling cycles, it also keeps the body of the adapter under vacuum or under pressure. In the operating position (FIG. 6), the cannula is out, the distribution of the liquid is ensured by the neck (8) as well as by the presence of radial orifices situated at the bottom of the cannula, these orifices are clear of the part "Centering". During the preliminary phase, the operator positions the adapter on the neck and presses the start button. The fluid under pressure passes through the valve (7) and arrives in the body (1) and in the cannula (3). The cannula (3) descends into the reservoir, releasing a space between the head (2) and the cannula (3) allowing the vacuum or equipressure. The fluid is distributed through the orifices at the base of the cannula thus ensuring the filling of the reservoir. At the end of the cycle, the cannula (3) rises in the housing of the head (2), the seal (6) comes to seal with the cannula. Preferably, the invention applies to the filling of automobile circuits 35
