De façon avantageuse, la collerette 34 est ménagée au niveau d'un plan de joint J. - 4 - La portion d'attache 36 de la collerette 34 est typiquement de 2 à 5 millimètres ce qui permet à la goutte de s'écouler correctement à la verticale.5The invention relates to a liquid reservoir inside a motor vehicle having a substantially vertical peripheral side wall as well as an upper wall and a lower wall. substantially horizontal, the reservoir being provided with a filling orifice formed in the upper horizontal wall, as shown in FIG. 1, a liquid reservoir 10 such as a brake fluid reservoir has two parts 10a and 10b, one substantially horizontal first portion 10a and a second substantially vertical portion 10b located under the first portion 10a, so that the reservoir 10 has an elongate L-shaped profile. When the reservoir 10 is filled by an orifice 12 located in an upper part of the reservoir 10, liquid tends to flow along the walls of the reservoir 10 during its filling. In the event of run-off during filling, the liquid then flows along the vertical peripheral wall 14 of the portion 10a of the reservoir 10 and then along a lower wall 16 from which it falls in the form of drops (represented in FIG. by an arrow). This can be very troublesome because, in the area below the bottom wall 16 of the portion 10a of the tank 10, there may be elements likely to be damaged by this liquid. In the case where these elements are electrical connectors 18 for example, not only is there a risk of damaging these connectors, but also a risk of short circuit. One solution would be to protect these elements by means of reported sealing devices. Such a solution would however have the disadvantage of complicating the assembly process but also to be more expensive. Moreover, the effectiveness of this solution is also related to the quality of the establishment of the sealing means, the risk of sealing defects due to mounting errors is increased. In order to overcome these disadvantages, the subject of the invention is a liquid reservoir comprising means for deflecting a flow of liquid during filling which are simple and inexpensive. To this end, the invention proposes a liquid reservoir of the type mentioned above, characterized in that the reservoir comprises, in case of run-off of the liquid along the peripheral side wall during the filling of the reservoir by the filling port, means for deflecting the liquid to a localized area outside the area directly above the bottom wall of the tank. According to other features of the invention: - The deflection means are formed by a peripheral collar constituted by a rib connected to the side wall of the tank via a fastening portion and extending substantially vertically towards the bottom away from the peripheral side wall. - The collar extends all around the peripheral side wall. - The rib of the collar is located at a distance of about 2 to 5 millimeters from the vertical side wall. The invention also relates to a brake fluid reservoir comprising a first portion having a substantially vertical peripheral side wall, a horizontal upper wall and a lower wall, a filling orifice formed in the upper wall as well as deflection means according to the invention. claims 1 to 4, the brake fluid reservoir having a second portion oriented substantially vertically below the first portion, a vertical wall of the second portion being provided with a brake fluid level sensor connector located at the plumb from the bottom wall of the first part. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the description of embodiments of a liquid reservoir with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a reservoir according to the state of the art - Figure 2 is a sectional view of a tank according to the invention - Figure 3 is a bottom view in perspective of the tank according to the invention. In the description which follows, we will take nonlimitingly a longitudinal orientation, vertical and transverse indicated by the trihedron L, V, T of Figures 1 to 3. - 3 - As shown in Figure 2, a liquid reservoir 20 such that a brake fluid reservoir, in the embodiment described herein, is formed in two parts, a first portion 20a of substantially horizontal orientation and a second portion 20b of substantially vertical orientation extending under the first portion. 20a, so that the reservoir 20 has an elongated L-shaped profile. The first horizontal portion 20a has a peripheral wall 22 of substantially vertical orientation, and an upper wall 24 and a bottom wall 26 of substantially horizontal orientation. A filling orifice 28 is formed in the upper wall 24 so as to be able to introduce the liquid inside the reservoir 20. The second portion 20b of the reservoir 20 extends downwardly from one end of the first horizontal portion 20a and has a vertical wall 30, facing the lower wall 26 of the first portion 20a. In a zone A located below the bottom wall 26 of the first part 20a of the reservoir 20 are elements sensitive to a liquid flow such as a connector 32 of liquid level sensor in the reservoir, for example. In the embodiment described here, the connector 32 is carried by the vertical wall 30 of the second portion 20b of the reservoir 20. The peripheral wall 22 of the first portion 20a has on its outer face a flange 34 constituted by a rib 36 s extending substantially vertically downward away from the peripheral wall 22 from a substantially horizontal attachment portion 38. The flange 34 extends all around the lateral peripheral wall 22 so that its projection on a plane passing through the lower horizontal wall 26 of the first portion 20a of the reservoir 20 is located in an area situated outside the lower horizontal wall. 26. Thus, when liquid flows along the wall 22 of the reservoir 20 during filling of the reservoir through the orifice 28, the flow of liquid is channeled by the presence of the collar 34: the liquid slides along the the attachment portion 38 then of the rib 36 and then drops in the form of drops from a free edge 40 of the rib 36, in a zone remote from the connector 32., the drops being represented by the arrow F2. Advantageously, the flange 34 is formed at a joint plane J. The fastening portion 36 of the flange 34 is typically 2 to 5 millimeters which allows the droplet to flow properly. vertically.5
