The present invention relates to coating compositions capable of curing under the effect of UV radiation, as well as to a process for producing said coating. The UV crosslinkable coating compositions are generally composed of at least one oligomer and / or at least one difunctional acrylate monomer and at least one photoinitiator which allow the formation of a film under the action of UV. Neutral fillers are usually added to the formulations to lower the cost price or to thicken the formulations. UV curable coatings have long been known and used in the printing and inks sector and in varnishes and products intended to protect and decorate wood. For several years, this technology has been used in the factory where the substrates covered with their coating composition are moving at high speed under UV lamps. UV-curable coatings are also used for concrete or cement flooring to form primers, paints or finishes. Hardening is carried out by mobile machines of the Floormate Decorad® type. Such coatings are generally deposited on small thicknesses (WO 2012/006199 A1, WO 2012/006200 A1) in one or more layers. In the field of floor coverings, we seek to optimize the tasks on construction sites by avoiding to pass two layers where one could pass only one. However, given the fact that it is necessary to ensure good wear resistance of the coatings, it is necessary that they have a substantial thickness. However, it is not possible to achieve this result with a single thick layer, because the main defect of these coatings is that the UV radiation is difficult to cross the thick layers, the adhesion to concrete or cement is therefore not not done well, especially since the pigmented layers are even more difficult to cross by UV radiation. For this reason, the application of UV technology to make coatings, such as floor coverings such as paints, is limited. In seeking to overcome this disadvantage, the present inventor has surprisingly discovered that if the UV coatings are formulated with defined refractive index fillers and with an angular shape, the coating formulations can be applied in thick to give coatings on floors or walls suitably hardened in depth in a single layer, adhering well to the concrete or cement support, ie without forming a hard surface part while the lower part of the layer is not yet completely hardened, giving a negative adhesion result to the adhesive tape test. Such formulations have undiminished mechanical properties, which is a favorable result when it is known that formulations comprising charges made of glass or ceramic beads have their mechanical properties decreased. The subject of the present invention is therefore a UV-curable coating composition comprising: (A) at least one at least one difunctional acrylate monomer and / or oligomer; (B) at least one photoinitiator; and (C) at least one filler, characterized in that the filler (s) (C) is (or is) selected from mineral fillers having a refractive index of 1.460 to 1.560 and angular form.
