Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device that will allow a beach towel not to fly if there is wind on the beach. On the beach, the towels fly off in the event of wind, which can cause discomfort on the part of other people lying around, either because they receive the towel on them, or because they receive sand due to the flight and the fall of the towel but also discomfort for the person concerned who may not find the towel in its place when returning from his bathing. For this, some people put shoes or pebbles to the four corners of their towels to prevent the flight of it. But this is not enough to eliminate the risk of "injury" and may eventually soil the towel; which is not very hygienic. The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback. Indeed, it comprises according to a first feature a crocodile clip that allows to attach a corner of the towel. To this crocodile clip is connected a chain or a cord with at its end a stake which is intended to be driven into the sand. According to the particular embodiments: - the crocodile clip is repositionable to infinity - the cord or chain each constitutes the articulation of the invention - the stake can be pointed at the end or rounded to be able to sink properly into the sand vertically. - The stake can be hard plastic or scrap. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: Figure 1 shows in section the device of the invention with a chain and a plastic tube with an iron tip at the end.
Figure 2 shows in section the device of the invention with a cord and a plastic tube with an iron tip at the end. Figure 3 shows a sectional variant of this device with a string and a plastic stake with a rounded tip. Figure 4 shows in section a variant of this device with a chain and a peg scrap with a rounded tip. With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a crocodile clip (1) whose end is connected to a cord (4) or a catenary (2), which themselves are connected to an iron (6) or plastic rod ( 5) or plastic with an iron tip (3) sinking into the sand.
It is sufficient for the user to attach the clip to one of the 4 ends of the towel then to plant the stake in the sand and this 4 times in a row so that the 4 corners of the towel are maintained 4 sides. In the embodiment according to Figure 1, the post is made of plastic with an iron tip and is connected to a chain which at its other end is attached to a crocodile clip. In the form of the embodiment according to Figure 2, the stake is plastic with an iron tip, and is connected to a cord which at its other end, is attached to a crocodile clip. In the embodiment according to Figure 3, the stake is all plastic with a cord which at its other end is attached to a crocodile clip. In the embodiment of Figure 4, the post is made of iron with a chain which at its other end is attached to a crocodile clip. By way of non-limiting example, the crocodile clip measuring 5.5 cm long and 0.5 cm wide must attach to one of the four edges of the napkin. The cord is 7 cm in view and is attached to the crocodile clip on one side and the stake of the other, it serves as an articulation of the invention. As for the stake, it measures 11.5 cm long and 0.8 cm wide and it is used to be planted in the sand to hold the towel. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for all holidaymakers on the beach who want their beach towel does not fly more.
