Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the field of lighting and security in urban and industrial areas. In particular, the invention relates to a lighting installation on roof and / or overhang for night lighting of buildings, including industrial buildings.
In the field of the invention, projectors have been used for a long time to illuminate overhang, at night, the periphery of industrial installations. Often, these projectors are fixed directly on the cornices of buildings and oriented towards the ground to illuminate the periphery close to the installations. Sometimes, at the corners of buildings, projectors are suspended overhanging angles on extension gantries integrally attached to the roof. A disadvantage of these overhead lighting installations lies in their maintenance difficulties. Indeed, maintenance operators must use a nacelle or mount on the roofs and operate at the edge of the cornice, sometimes rappelling, to access the projectors, especially when they are installed overhanging. In both cases, the operators act several meters above the ground, under conditions of stability, and thus of security, precarious. The object of the present invention is to provide an overhead lighting installation which allows the placement and maintenance of totally secure projectors on buildings, in particular for lighting the corners and the periphery of such buildings. For this purpose, the present invention proposes a roof lighting installation comprising a luminous projector integral with an anchoring device on the roof of the building, characterized in that the anchoring device comprises a carriage for moving the headlamp in translation on at least one guide rail, the projector being fixed on the carriage and movable integrally therewith between a projection position, in which the projector is positioned at an anterior end of the rail (s) on a rim of the roof of the building and a maintenance position, wherein the projector is positioned at a rear end of the rail (s) set back from the rim of said roof.
Such an installation is very simple to implement on a flat roof of building as are often the roofs of industrial buildings to illuminate overhanging the angles and surroundings of these buildings. It is also very simple to set up and use, requiring only one operator to operate the mobile carriage, which allows the said operator to tow the projector from its overhanging position to a more secure roof area away from the roof edge in order to carry out maintenance operations. Once the projector has been serviced, the operator has only to push the mobile carriage manually or by means of a gaff or any motorized movement device for example to the position above the building. The installation of the invention is particularly intended to be used preferably in addition to a guardrail at the periphery of the roof. Thus, one can circulate the fixture on his carriage under the rails of the railing, if necessary after removing the lowest rail to move it from the lighting position to the maintenance position. According to a characteristic of this installation, the movable carriage cooperates with displacement means on the guide rail (s). According to different embodiments, the displacement means 20 comprise at least traction members of the carriage and / or motorized means for moving the carriage. Advantageously, the displacement means comprise a traction cable and a winding device of the traction cable fixed on the roof of the building. According to another advantageous characteristic of the invention, the anchoring device is self-supporting. Advantageously, the anchoring device comprises at least one counterweight weighting and fixing the anchoring device. Advantageously again, the counterweight is removable from the anchoring device. According to another characteristic of the invention, the movable carriage comprises a fixing plate of the projector fixed on at least one axle slidable on the guide rail (s) between abutments at the front and rear ends of the rail or rails (s) guidance. Finally, the installation of the invention also preferably comprises at least at least one locking member of the carriage on the guide rail (s) in the lighting position. Various other characteristics appear from the description given below with reference to the accompanying drawings which show, by way of non-limiting examples, embodiments of the subject of the invention. In the accompanying figures: - Figure 1 shows a lighting installation according to the present invention in a preferred embodiment, placed on a roof of building; FIG. 2 represents an exploded view of the frame structure of the lighting installation of FIG. 1; FIG. 3 represents an exemplary embodiment of a carriage for mounting a lighting floodlight for the implementation of a lighting installation according to FIG. 1. FIG. 1 represents a lighting installation 1 according to the present invention in a preferred embodiment. This installation 1 is intended in particular to be used preferably in addition to a guardrail (not shown) at the periphery of the roof. This lighting installation 1 is advantageously designed to allow a quick and secure installation and maintenance of a light projector 2 on a roof T of building B, said projector 2 having the function of illuminating said building B and its surroundings from its roof T, especially from its rim RT, if any overhanging, to illuminate including the periphery near the building at night. The lighting installation 1 comprises in the embodiment shown a light projector 2. This is mounted on an anchoring device 3 on the roof of building B. The anchoring device 3 comprises a carriage 4 on which the projector 2 is fixed securely. This carriage 4 is movable in longitudinal translation on a chassis 5 comprising at least one, and preferably two guide rails 6 parallel to each other at a determined spacing fixed by connecting crossmembers 7 bolted to the rails 6 between their longitudinal anterior ends 6a and posterior 6b preferably. Advantageously, the anchoring device 4 is of the self-supporting type. For this purpose at least one, and preferably two connecting webs 7 at the rear ends 6b of the rails 6 have a length greater than the spacing of said rails 6 and extend laterally projecting from each side of each rails 6 so as to form each of the weighting counter receiving tabs 9 of the anchoring device 3 and the lighting installation 1 as a whole on the roof of the building B.
The frame 5 further comprises support lugs 10 fixed to the guide rails 6 at their front ends 6a, these bearing lugs 10 being for example constituted by metal brackets bolted to an outer wall of the rails 6 and allowing by their base a stable plane support rails 6 on the roof of the building. Where appropriate, the base of these lugs 10 also comprises an orifice 11 allowing anchoring on the roof, for example by means of screws. In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2, the guide rails 6 are formed of two profiled steel beams having a cross section, that is to say perpendicular to their axis of longitudinal extension, in U one leg 61 of which forms a plate for fixing the rails on the connecting rails 7 and the other leg 62 forms a running surface of the mobile carriage 4 on which the projector 2 is installed. This running surface 62 is delimited at the front longitudinal ends 6a and rear 6b of each rail 6 by a limit stop 12, for example bolted or welded to the running surface 62. These end stops 12 prevent the carriage 4 can not derail at the ends 6a, 6b of said rails.
FIGS. 3A to 3C show in detail an exemplary embodiment of a mobile carriage 4 for supporting the projector 2 for the lighting installation 1 of the invention. This carriage 4 consists of a rectangular tray 41 with a pull ring 42 for the mechanical connection of the carriage 4 to a device for moving it. As shown in Figure 1, on the upper surface of the tray 41 of the carriage is fixed the light projector 2, by any suitable means. The plate 41 supports two axles 43 arranged laterally and adapted to make the connection between the carriage 4 and the guide rails 6.
Each axle 43 comprises at least two pairs of wheels 44 coupled in pairs in the same vertical plane perpendicular to the plate 41 on mounting brackets 45 bolted to the lower surface of the plate 41 (Figure 3B). Each bracket 45 supports on a branch perpendicular to the lower surface of the plate 41 two wheels 44 superimposed one above the other and free to rotate about two horizontal axes X1, X2 parallel such as exists between the surfaces wheels 44 a distance substantially equal to the thickness of the branch 62 of the guide rails 6 forming the running surface of said rails.
Thus, the carriage 4 can be enshrined on the rails 6 at each axle 43 by sliding the upper branch 62 of the section of the rail between the two pair of wheels 44 coupled, thereby forming a slide connection between the carriage 4 and each of the rails 6, and thus preventing any detachment of the carriage relative to the rails during a translational movement of the carriage on the rails. Moreover, in order to avoid any lateral play of the carriage 4 with respect to the rails 6, each axle 43 also additionally comprises, in the example shown, at least one wheel 46 for lateral contact with the rails, this contact wheel 46 being fixed at least between the two brackets 45 supporting the pairs of vertical wheels 44 for guiding the carriage on the rails. As shown in FIG. 3C, the contact wheel 46 is then fixed free to rotate about a vertical axis on a lug 47 also bolted to the lower surface of the plate 41, so that said contact wheel can be supported on its peripheral surface with the inner surface of the connecting wall 63 of the branches 61, 62 of a rail 6 to prevent any lateral displacement of the carriage 4 on the rails 6 without limiting or braking the longitudinal translation movements of the carriage 4 on the rails . Advantageously, the mobile carriage 4 cooperates with displacement means in longitudinal translation on the guide rail (s) 6. In the embodiment shown in the figures, these displacement means comprise at least traction of the carriage taking the form, in addition to the pulling ring 42 secured to the plate 41 of the carriage 4, at least one pulling cable 13 attached to this ring and extending to the rear end of the installation 1, at the level of the counterweight 9 to allow a manual pulling of the cable allowing the shift of the carriage 4 from the roof edge of the building B in order to perform maintenance operations of the projector safely. Advantageously and preferably, the traction cable 13 may be connected at its free end to a winding device of the cable fixed on the roof of the building and not shown in the figures. Alternatively, the movable carriage moving means may also comprise motorized means for moving the carriage on the rails. In this variant, no traction cable is then provided. The lighting installation 1 according to the invention is used as follows. Initially, the anchoring device 3 is installed on the roof of a building B which it is desired to illuminate the surroundings. The frame 5 of the anchoring device 3 is initially put in place. This frame 5 may be pre-assembled or mounted in situ by an operator. The frame is installed such that the front ends 6a of the guide rails 6 are positioned at the rim RT of the roof T, or even slightly beyond, above the void. The counterweights 9 are then positioned on the tabs 8 of the rear connecting bars in order to ballast the frame 5 on the roof. In addition, it is possible to anchor the chassis screw anchor bolts in the holes 11 provided for this purpose in the support lugs 10 integral with the rails 6. The movable carriage 4 is then installed on the rails 6. To do this, it first unscrews the rear end stops of each rail 6 to be able to embed the running limb 62 of said rails between the wheels 44 of the axles 43 of the carriage 4. In this way, the carriage 4 is taken between two guide rails in translation along rails 6. The posterior stops are then put back on the rails 6 to limit the stroke of the carriage 4 towards the rear of the rails. The projector 2 is then fixed on the platform 41 of the carriage by any appropriate means, depending on the nature and dimensions of the chosen projector 2, and this latter is connected to the electrical network and / or to an independent battery power supply device. , if necessary photovoltaic recharging for example. Finally, a first end of a return cable 13 is attached to the traction ring 42 of the plate 41. The second end of the return cable 13 is either connected to a winding device or attached to the rear part of the chassis for allow a traction action on the movable carriage 4. It is then sufficient to move the movable carriage 4 on the rails, manually or by means of motorized drive means to the end position against the abutments of the front ends, so that the headlamp is positioned in its lighting position, at the rim or roof ridge RT, if necessary after passing under the rails of a safety railing. Finally, the carriage is locked in this extreme position by locking rods 14 resting at a rear end on the rear stops of the rails and at an anterior end against the plate 42 of the carriage by means of L-hooks 15 covering partially the plate 42. The locking rods 14 can be fixed on the rails 6 by means of bolts 16 removable rods 14 and branch 62 rails in holes 17, 18 drilled for this purpose and being held by butterflies. tightening 19.
