Abstract

Devices are known comprising an obstacle which, being interposed between opening 2 and frame 3, is carried by the opening and is associated with the control means of the lock. The invention aims to provide an improved device operating automatically, with certainty and requiring human intervention only to be canceled. According to the invention, the obstacle is formed by at least one of the actuating legs 5 which has, between its tubular body 5a of connection to the mechanism of the lock and its gripping part 5c, an intermediate part 5b which, at the rest, overflows the free vertical edge 2a of the opening and, in the erasure position, is part of the size of this opening. Each stand is monolithic and is integral with an axial core which, in one embodiment, cooperates with return means automatically returning it to the position where it forms an obstacle.

Description

The invention relates to a security device opposing the unexpected closure of a door leaf. It relates more particularly to the openings equipped with a locking means operable on each side by handles, button-shaped or crutch. Each locking means is generally provided with a dead bolt that can move back elastically when it meets the edge of a striker formed in the frame of the frame. This ease of self-locking the door when it is slammed by a current of air, proves to be a disadvantage when the door is arranged in a place receiving the public at a young age, and for example in a nursery or daycare center. . Indeed, when the door is brought into the closed position, voluntarily or involuntarily by a violent air current, the stop of the bolt against the frame does not prevent the continuation of its closing stroke and thus allows to pinch the fingers of a child's hand inadvertently placed against the field of the frame. The state of the art provides many solutions to overcome this disadvantage and pinches of fingers that depend on it. In the documents WO2008 / 08149 and WO2010 / 125567, it is a complementary member which, in the form of a radial lever pivotally mounted on the handle, can occupy either an erasure position in which it is brought into the space the door and does not oppose its closure, a security position in which it is rotated to project from the door and oppose its closure.

Giving satisfaction in a family home, since the occupants are keen to protect their children from painful pinching of the fingers, the additional lever devices described in these documents are less suitable when they are applied on doors of public places. Indeed, the staff in charge of the control of the children can have his indirect attention and in spite of the interest which he carries to the children can omit to operate the security device. In addition, children can also bring the device to the erase position. The device described in the document US1354079 is composed of a wire lever articulated on an axis protruding perpendicular to the frame, this lever having, on the one hand and at its upper end, a stop in the closing path of the door, and on the other hand and at its lower end, a mass tending to return the lever to its securing position opposing the closing of the door.

This device gives satisfaction on securing the closure but adds a maneuver to close the door. The present invention aims to provide a security device automatically opposing the unexpected closure of a door and requiring human intervention only to cancel the anti-pinch function, that is to say a device overcoming the disadvantages current devices and requiring no additional body or additional maneuver. It relates more particularly to devices comprising an obstacle which, being inserted between opening and frame, is carried by reopening and is associated with the control means of its lock. In the device according to the invention the obstacle is formed by at least one of the crutches for actuating the lock, said crutch having, between its tubular connecting body to the mechanism of the lock and its gripping part, an intermediate part which, at the rest, overflows from the free vertical edge of reopening and, in the position of erasure, fits into the reopening count. Thanks to this arrangement, the internal structure of the lock remains unchanged and only its actuating means are modified. Indeed, without the operator needs to intervene on the control of the lock, when it is at rest, with its actuator stand horizontally sensiblement, its protruding portion obstacle is in the overflow position. this is of no consequence if the door is closed.

On the other hand, if it is open or interlocked, any wind movement tending to close it without actuating the crutches, brings the obstacle part against the frame and prevents closure, thus preventing any possible pinch of fingers between opening and sleeping. To change the reopening position, for example to reopen if it is closed, but also to close it if it is open, it is necessary to actuate the crutches to bring them from their usual horizontal position of rest to their inclined unlocking position, position in which the obstacle part of the crutches or handles enters the door counting and tolerates the free movement of the door. From the foregoing it follows that with the device according to the reopening invention is always in an anti-pinch confirmation and that only its usual movements require to pay attention to its stands to operate in the direction of unlocking, the return to locking s' performed automatically by the return springs of the lock mechanism. In a childcare facility, this frees the staff from any monitoring constraints of the open or closed condition of the recovery doors to prevent pinching of fingers. In one embodiment of the invention, the stand comprises: - a tubular connecting body, longitudinal direction, fitted on and rotatably connected to the connecting core with the lock mechanism, 10 - a straight tubular part constituting operating member, and an intermediate tubular portion in an arc whose arc goes beyond the vertical joint plane between opening and frame, when the stand is in the normal position of rest. The monolithic nature of the crutch opposes any disruption of the anti-pinch function and thus improves the security of recovery. Advantageously, the connection core with the mechanism of the lock is rotatably connected to elastic return means, bringing the anti-pinch lever back into the position in which it forms an obstacle. Other features and advantages will become apparent from the following description, with reference to the accompanying diagrammatic drawing, in which: Figure 1 is a front elevational view of an embodiment of the stand; Figure 2 is an exploded perspective view of an embodiment of the connecting means of the stand to the training square; Figure 3 is an exploded perspective view of an alternative embodiment of the connecting means of the stand to the drive square; Figure 4 is a partial side view in section and on an enlarged scale of the connecting means of the stand with the square of Figure 3; 5 is an end front view of a door equipped with two anti-pinch stands, FIGS. 6 and 7 are partial perspective views of a door when the stand is, respectively, in anti-pinch function and when it is pivoted to actuate the lock, in the direction of withdrawal of the bolt. In this drawing, reference numeral 2 designates an opening and in particular an interior door, 3 the frame frame, 4 the lock mechanism generally, 5 each of its crutches, 6 the latch bolt, 7 the dead bolt and P the joint plane between opening and sleeping. According to the invention, at least one of the crutches 5 consists of: o a tubular connecting body 5a, longitudinal and coaxial with transverse tax of the lock 4, o a rectilinear tubular gripping portion 5c, forming the handle actuator, o and an intermediate tubular portion 5b constituted, in the embodiment shown, by a circular arc extending, as shown in Figure 1, beyond the free vertical edge 2a re-opening and plane P, to come over the frame 3, when the door is closed and the stand is in the rest position. As shown in Figures 2 to 4, the connecting body 5a is monolithic with the other parts of the stand and is fitted on a core 10 to which it is connected, on the one hand, by an axial screw 11 and, d ' secondly, by a radial screw 12. The core 10, made by molding plastic or machined metal, comprises an axial housing 13 of square cross section adapted to be fitted on the drive square 14 of the lock. The core is also used to translate the finishing cups 15 and 16 in translation. The embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 differs from that shown in FIG. 2 by the presence of an additional means for recalling the crutches in the position where they form an obstacle to closing. These means are, for example, constituted by a spiral spring 17 disposed around the end of the core 10 and rune of the ends 17a bears against a puncture 18 of the inner cup 15, (Figure 4) while the Another end 17b is engaged in a diametrical slot 19 of the core 10. Thus, the rotation of one of the crutches 5 downwards, strips the spiral spring 17 which, at the release of the stand, automatically causes the rotation of the square 14 and crutches 5 to their upright position of wedging of the door, mounted in Figure 6. Figure 5 shows a door with crutches 5 arranged on both sides are identical for aesthetic purposes, but it is obvious that to obtain the anti pinch function, it is sufficient that this is the stand coming first vis-à-vis the frame which has the intermediate portion 5b obstructing the complete closure. When the crutches are at rest, each of them occupies the position shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 6, in which position part 5b forms a closing obstacle. In this way when the door 2, ajar or completely open, is moved in the direction of closure, by human intervention or by a draft, if the stand is not lowered, as shown in Figure 7, and is therefore in its rest position, shown in Figure 6, its intermediate portion 5b abuts against the frame. As a result, the space E between the sash edge and the edge of the frame, corresponding to the value of the projection S (FIG. 5) of the stand, remains sufficient to prevent any pinching, in particular of children's fingers. Although this device is particularly useful for securing anti-pinch doors of collective rooms with children, it can also be set up on doors of private homes, until children living there reach an age protecting them from pinches of inattention.
