La présente invention concerne un procédé de valorisation du CO permettant de produire de l'hydrogène et des hydrocarbures possédant au moins deux atomes de carbone par réaction de CO et de l'eau en présence d'un matériau comprenant au moins des oxydes et/ou carbonates de métaux appartenant au groupe VIII de la classification de Mendeleïev.
