Abstract

Procédé de caractérisation de l'influence de l'usinage utilisé pour la réalisation d'une pièce en matériau composite sur la tenue mécanique de celle-ci, ledit procédé comprenant la réalisation dans ledit matériau composite d'une éprouvette de traction, la mise en traction de ladite éprouvette jusqu'à sa rupture en fatigue, l'identification du point d'origine de la rupture sur les éprouvettes et la mesure du nombre de cycles appliqués jusqu'à obtention de la rupture, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une étape de réalisation de plusieurs éprouvettes cylindriques à sections polygonales, deux au moins des faces associées à chaque segment dudit polygone étant réalisées selon deux procédés d'usinage qui différent l'un de l'autre par au moins un paramètre, une étape de sollicitation en fatigue desdites éprouvettes jusqu'à leur rupture et une étape d'analyse statistique du nombre de faces à partir de laquelle s'est amorcée la rupture en fonction du paramètre d'usinage mis en œuvre pour la découpe desdites faces.
