Abstract
Description
ANNEAU BRISE DOUBLE A OUVERTURE OU EXTRACTION RAPIDE PAR PINCEMENT DOUBLE BREEZE RING WITH OPENING OR RAPID EXTRACTION BY PINCH
The present invention relates to a double broken ring which can be opened or removed quickly by simple pinching. The double broken ring is a well-known and handy item to be used as a key ring or for other applications such as nautical splicing, attachment for extraction or placement of spurs, or even serving safety pin, ... etc. The double broken ring generally consists of two contiguous helical turns forming a ring kept energetically closed by the elastic material which constitutes it in steel or other elastic material. For the attachment of a key or other object to this broken ring, just enough apart one of the ends of the turns to thread into the hole of the key or any other object. The object is then slid along the turns until the other end thereof is clear of this object. Finally, the total section of the ring is trapped in the hooking hole of the key or any other object. The well known difficulty is to remove the ends of the turns which are joined and firmly held tight by their rigidity. Sometimes these slightly chamfered ends to facilitate the introduction of the key or any other object, can also cause injury during this delicate operation. The present invention makes it possible precisely to perform, by a simple pinching of the fingers, the opening of the broken ring autonomously, without effort, without risk of injury and without the aid of tools.
25 DESCRIPTION TECHNIQUE 25 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The double broken ring with opening or pinch extraction according to the invention shown as an example in FIGS. 1 and 2, comprises, like any double broken ring, two turns wound together Rep.l and Rep.2. One of the turns has an angular offset with respect to one of its ends a local deformation such a boss or protrusion Rep.3 and such that the other turn remains locally supported creating a Rep.4 spacing between these two turns over a certain length. When the operator pinches with his fingers the ring at the rear of the protrusion, by levering the ring segment located at the front Rep.5 of the local point of support, flip naturally 35 thus causing the spacing of the coil at its end to facilitate the introduction of the key or any other object. In the case of large ring pinch can be provided by a tool such as a clamp.
In a variant shown in FIG. 3, the boss or protrusion localized on one of the 40 turns is replaced by an insert Rep. 6 reported by welding or fixed by any other means or can be removable and similarly providing the function of rocker of the segment located at the front of the boss when the operator pinches the ring at the rear of the latter.
